Hotel POandian is located strategically despite being in a very busy and crowded surroundings it is the most sought and best suited luxury hotel with adequate care parking and amenities
Front office, staff, food and room maintenance are better and quite cozy. Food options are very unlimited with opportunities to visit nearby reputed vegetarian and non vegetarian restaurant. Staff are well behaved and do get your tasks cut out and make these boys at counter work.
Ambience is good and quiet It is well connected by bus for city travel and suburban train station Egmore is just less than a kilometer.

This hotel is horrible. First off, the pictures they have are not a good representation of what you really get. Old and dirty.
I prepaid on hotels.com at $60 US Dollars. I get there and the rate is posted at $20. They then told me I needed to pay another $30 (2000 rupes) for a/c. Their posted rate for an a/c standard room is 1925 rupees for half board. So, they were trying to rip me off!!! My booking was for a/c already but refused to give me what I paid for and stuck me in this hot room with no air flow.
The manager and employee at the desk had no concern for me or my comfort.
They also tried to tell me my reservation was not a half board and did not want to honor my $4 voucher they gave me for dinner.
My friends stayed at a much better hotel for cheaper very close by. Do that!

Rooms and cleanliness are good. But the mosquites spoiled a good sleep as i was in a non a/c room. The fan speed was not good enough and mosquito repellent didn't work. Sad..lessons learnt. 5Good Hotel. Very Neatness. But non ac room is hot. if you prefer for ac room this is very nice.

Hotel is fine for what you pay and it seems you will get good response if you book directly on high rates , In case you book through any portal with discounted prices they will treat you very badly. We reached hotels at 11:3o pm and asked front office person aster about the rates he told Rs 2400 + taxes when we told him that make my trip offers very less rates he just threw on tariff card showing the rates . He was very rude and was just trying to force us to book directly . When we asked him if he can offer us some discount on his rates he replied very rudely and said that he cannot and the rooms have too many mosquitoes . Finally it was too late for us to go and search another hotel as my wife was not well . Finally we booked through mmt after seeing that we got more rude and made us to wait for another 15 minutes . Totally we were at reception for more than 30 min . Food is also bad , we ordered fish finger which was totally burnt . They don't settle any food bill to rooms and want direct cash . Even a bottle of water they charge 40 Rs for which they don't even give a bill . Most of the people doesn't understand any other language apart from Tamil so very difficult to make then understand . People are just behind tips and literally force you till you don't tip them . Totally I had a very bad experience with this hotel and I have even informed the same to there operation manager . My suggestion please don't use this hotel . There are much better hotels in the same vicinity which can offer you better hospitality in the similar pricing .

This is located in a busy place. good location for shopping. food is average. same thing for break fast. Service not to the standard. Rooms are good. Wifi good. Average hotel which suits for shopping.
