Very small and noisy room - not worth the price

The room was very small with no window or any light coming in. I wouldn't call it budget friendly either, when we booked it mentioned that room would have a coffee pot but nothing. The staff is lazy. The minute the room next to us got filled - it became very noisy. There are many other hotels in that lane so don't worry try other ones.
Quick stop in Amritsar

We were in Amritsar for 26 hours in total, landed around 8 pm, went straight to our hotel. The room was clean and comfortable.
The next day we saw the golden temple which was a short tuk tuk away, and came back to check out by 12 pm. Our flight back to Delhi was at 10 pm, we knew we wanted to eat and see the flag ceremony at the boarder but had no plans.
The hotel was really helpful, offering to keep our bags, recommending an authentic popular restaurant and then organising us a car to take us to the boarder and then the airport.
It was all very easy!
Great rooms and service!

This hotel has great rooms! Although they are a bit small, they were kept very clean and I was impressed with no mosquitos being in the hotel.
The staff were extremely helpful-- especially Akash at the front desk. He would arrange for our cabs to get around, tell us the best places to shop, etc.
Definitely recommend staying here!
Trip Advisor comments did not help in choosing this property

Except for its location ( those travelling by train) and for helpful General Manager, nothing to write about. It is one of those scores of hotels stacked up on a narrow lane, where tourist with limited budget ends up. Rooms are pretty small and except for a few rooms all of them are without any window. Wi-fi did not work and food on demand was good. The tariiff paid did not include breakfast but when I compare similar properties in other cities I found it high. However, I need to mention about the positive attitude of Mr Rakesh Mehra, GM, who has been very helpfull.
