Kindly note that this review may not be applicable to people coming to Jamnagar in large for a holiday and looking for luxury , this is purely from a birders point of view.
This hotel is frequented by birders and wildlife enthusiasts who come over to Jamnagar and is very conveniently located at a 10 mins drive from the railway station . While its in the middle of the main market of the old city and has a lot of traffic in the evening , yet this is a point which makes the location quite convenient for a birder . The whole day you would end up spending outside the city and in all likelihood , you would be back to the hotel only by evening .
The rooms are comfortable and spacious with clean beds / linen. There are a lot of options to eat good food at a walking distance from the hotel . If you are fond of south indian cuisine then please do visit a small udupi restaurant called " Madras Hotel " which is a 2 min walk from the hotel . Anyone who loves the taste of Indian Paan , please dont miss the pan at ManuBhai's shop ( behind the hotel ) . However good non veg food is served at the hotel itself
In terms of service , they were quite accommodating and got us hot tea / war water to drink at 530 in the morning as well.
Wifi connectivity is limited to the reception area

We were on a nature trip to Jamnagar mainly focused on Birding. We were organized to stay in Hotel President by our local organizer (Manish Trivedi). President is a very good hotel in the center of city. Rooms are very spacious and with all needed facility for someone to stay. We spent 2 nights here. Being from wildlife area, we have some very unique demands like need facility like tea hot water pretty early morning (3AM etc), the hotel staff never complained and provided the same. They have hot water facility for 24X7 which is another plus for wildlife people. We did not try their restaurant, but people said it is good. The staff is really good and polite, informative and helpful. Being in center of city is a big plus.

Have never stayed at this hotel but have had dinner quite a number of times... the preparation is good, and portions are decent... what I loved the most was fried icecream... excellent in taste... go for it.

Nice hotel.some of the rooms need revamp.Staff and manager friendly.The more pricey rooms were better.reception area very nice. Nearby shops for shopping.Everything is a walking distance .Nice town to visit.I loved my stay there.They also give free airport transfers.good restaurant.

This hotel once used to have its charm.
Situated in the heart of the city with no soundproof windows, one will go mad listening to vehicle noise the whole day and night only to give no comfort at all
To make it worse their rooma are poorly maintained with soggy walls and worn out furniture and linen.
Parking is very awkward and one has to wait hours waiting for behind traffic to stop to come out only in reverse once in!
Don't even think of staying or eating here.
