A decent restaurant located conveniently in the market area of Mahabaleshwar, hardly one minute away from the city ST stand. We had breakfast and dinner at this restaurant. The food is fresh and super delicious, the place is very clean and spacious, Staff is very friendly and courteous. We ordered Sada Dosa, Idli Sambhar, Puri Bhaaji, Aloo Paratha for breakfast and we were very happy with all the dishes served to us. We came back on all three mornings for breakfast. We also had our dinners here devouring various soups,authentic Khichdi Khadi -which is outstanding. Jeera rice and briyani. I will definitely dine here again whenever i visit Mahabaleshwar.

Hotel president is good and in the market area. So it will easy to roam around market till late. We stayed in super dlx non a/c room was clean and well maintained. Staff is cooperative and polite, Food quality was also nice over all nice enjoyable trip.

President is on a Y-fork near Poonam Chowk, Main Market. The restaurant appears clean and serves may dishes but our experience somehow was not good. We ordered a Gujarati Thali which had several items but were very spicy. Preparation of ladies-finger smelled rotten. Somehow I gathered that the cooks are not in synch with aspirations of management. It can make very good business like Poonam Restaurant due to its strategic location but during our stay we never found the restaurant full.

Rooms were worst, Food was worst everything is worst.
When we reached there was renovation work going on ground floor. Whole hotel was untidy. Rooms were dirty. No towels, soaps and toiletries provided by Hotel.
We booked room with bathtub, but bathtubs were so dirty. We asked to clean but didnt got any response.

The restaurant at President Hotel is very good. They serve all types of food and thalis especially are good.
If you are looking to eat out at in the Main Market Area then this will be a very good option. The staff is also good and helps in any manner they can. Must try at least once.
