Rugged unspoiled acreage

Yes it's rugged and rough roads. Yes it's a long bumpy slow drive. Yes you must purchase a $25 STINAPA conservation membership per person. And yes it's worth seeing. It's an unspoiled conservation area that caters to wildlife and not people, so don't expect a 5 star restaurant on this beach. Pack what you want or need to eat and drink. We had a small 2 wheel drive truck that did just fine. Took me back to my days of off-roading, and it didn't rattle my 90 year old grandmother too much. She enjoyed the natural country feel and getting back to nature for a few hours. We got to the site after about a 45 minute drive, and we stopped a few times for pictures of the cactus blooms, wildlife, and the cliffs. We took the short route. There's a clean restroom and some seating areas to eat the lunch or drink the beers you brought, and the water is calm and clear. If you question the water depth in jumping off the cliff then snorkel out there prior and reassure yourself. If you use the waters anywhere around the island for any recreational activities you would have purchased a STINAPA tag for $10, or should have, and if you do any scuba diving you pay the full $25 anyway. If you bought the $10 one then they just ask for the remaining $15. It's a once per year fee that goes to the conservation of not just this beach and park, but also of the waters surrounding the island. That $25 tag receipt will get you into the park as many times as you want for the year, and you can feel good about contributing to a good preservation effort. The dive markers and buoys they maintain are nice too. Only took us 30 minutes to get out of the park from here. Worth seeing, but relax and enjoy the natural setting. You can go back to the disco bar later.
Cliff jumping, beach, picnic spot

It's a long, bumpy drive into the park and to this spot, but it was worth it. Jumping off the cliff into the warm ocean water was fantastic. There are not many people around, and there were no services there that day, apart from clean washrooms. Snorkeling and swimming off the beach was very good. Bring a cooler full of food and drink for a picnic. Lots of great photo opportunities here.
BEAUTIFUL BEACH!

We went here on the last day of our trip. I would highly recommend it. The beach is so beautiful and there are places to cliff jump and snorkel. It may have been the sandiest beach we went to once we were out there in the water. We also saw some cool things while we were there.
There is a flamingo area right nearby and we also saw donkeys on our way out!
I wouldn't return to it

I suppose I was expecting more, and the fact that the road is so narrow, poorly maintained, and full of potholes with a couple of makeshift bridges made it hard for me to enjoy the park itself. It was really pretty in places and we loved the flamingoes and the mountains, but the poor driving conditions made it take a while to leave the park.
nice place but not too impressive

this place is nice but not as impressive as on Curacao or Aruba. This boka is no forming an underground hole that leads water in a fantastic flush of water but more of the surf that hits the rocks instead
