Stopped here for one night very basic hotel. Beds were cheap metal frames with mattress. Daughters bed was placed in the hall way.
Fridge very noisy through the night. So had to get up pull it out and turn it off.
Coffee and tea facilities very sparce with little plastic cups.
No bedside tables.lights or carpets.
Towels very sparce and THIN.
Breakfast in the restaurant next door. Not much to choose from for 7.50 euros per breakfast very poor.
Lots of police around. Reception next door.
Thought looking at the photos nice view acoss the beach. NO looking over housing estate. Glad it was for only 1 night

The place is a building with rooms. No attended reception desk, their reception shutters are down and there is a feeling of emptiness about the place, no catering or breakfast facilities, they are available at Hotel de la Plage, situated next door!
We had previously stayed here in the summer of 2016 and had planned to return on our way back, but managed to cancel and book the next door neighbor/parent hotel, Hotel de la Plage, which costs a few quid more but as the âscores on the doorsâ from the reviews, gets a few more deserved points.
Whilst I acknowledge that the place we went to last year was more acceptable for a âboys football tripâ and had been improved, it was at best on the cheaper side and had a good location for the Euro Tunnel. The current review score of 6.9 in my opinion is very generous.

Firstly the current photo on the web site bares no resemblance to the 19th Sept 2017.
Piles of building materials, and reception is next door in the sister hotel.
Not far, but for someone with disability, too far. Thank heavens it wasn't raining.
I had pre booked a ground floor room for people with disabilities and it was very basic, with a toilet and bath that had no grab handles. Have found this before in France, and was previously told at one hotel that as long as the room entrance door is wide enough for a wheel chair, that's enough.
Ate dinner at the sister hotel which offered a buffet as well as a menu.
OK but not great, but breakfast the following morning was excellent.

We use this hotel as a staging post when journeying to the Channel Tunnel or Calais ferry port from Burgundy. Equally this hotel could serve as an ideal place for a family stay. It is located opposite the beach and close to all sorts of facilities. Parking is available and free. The room we had could accommodate up to 4 (double bed plus to bunks in separate area). Bathroom (Bath and toilet) is separate from the toilet. The main room also had a sink, a fridge, coffee making facilities and table and chairs. WiFi is free and comes with a good speed. The view from our room looked over towards the ferry port and out to sea. The beach is great and much for children to do nearby. Walking into Calais town centre is easy and there are frequent buses. The restaurant in the neighbouring hotel (same firm) provides a good, comprehensive menu. The hotel was quiet and the staff helpful. Cost was reasonable (65 Euros). My drive to the Channel Tunnel from the hotel took 5 minutes. Could not be better!

Stay away! Terrible room, 4 beds for 5 people but they said "it doesn't matter as one is an infant". Filthy bathroom, unhelpful staff and to top it off, they took double payment so now trying to get one returned.
