I booked online Oyo-Jalmahal but lateron I come to know that the real name is Roma Place when after a long search I called the hotel about the location of hotel. Near Brahmpuri Police station jaipur.
I stayed here on 17.10.2015 for one day. hotel is very good and situated little outside from the city so location was very quiet and pleasant.
Staff was very good and reception too.
hotel room was very good and window view was memorizing. Sorrounding hills of Jaipur was nice panoramic view.
interior and exterior of the hotel is very good. it looks as a Haveli or Heritage hotel from outside.
would like to stay here again on my next trip to jaipur and will recommend it to other also
Please try to avoid

I will request everyone to avoid staying in this hotel. I was shocked to learn this is a 3 star hotel. It is better to stay in good budget hotels like Hotel Kalyan (will separately review this) instead of wasting your time with Hotel Roma Palace. Our room didn't have hot and cold running water. Upon checking we were assigned to another room (after the poor housekeeping guy checked at least 5 rooms for this basic facility) which had a functional shower. Interestingly this room supplied only hot scalding water in the wash basin:).. We were staying only for one night hence made light of this but woe to anyone who tries to stay here for longer.
Upsides -- Housekeeping staff very helpful, food ok, good location.
Families stay away!!
Beautiful Location

We paid 3000 INR for a double room and it was not worth it at all.
pros:
- omelette ok and delicious chai at breakfast.
- tiled room was fairly tidy
cons:
- old school hot water system - not enough hot water for 2 people to have a SHORT shower each. The HWS is complicated to use - there's a pipe that supplies the hot water from the tiny hot water storage unit in the bathroom. You turn on this supplementary pipe to give the scalding hot water out of the shower head, then use the regular shower tap (that only lets out freezing water) to mix the water to get the temperature you want.
- room was freezing and there's no heating system.
- no soap, toilet paper was delivered on request. Towels thin and stained. No bathmat/hand towels provided.
- seems to be common with rooms at this price: dust filled mattress, no mattress protector, stained fitted sheet only, thin blanket on top with no cover.
We were given another blanket on request, but still had to sleep in our clothes as was so cold. As a particularly hygiene-focussed individual the bedding bothered me. A lot. However my partner had no qualms about it and was just bothered by the cold and the shower.
If I were to stay here again I would be better prepared.

stayed in this hotel in December 2013.
Paid 1000 INR per night inc breakfas. Original price was 3000 INR.
Reason behing our discount was that we were brough there by our driver from the travel agency from New Delhi. He said he knows the owner hence this deal.
But as we discovered they get provisions from every and each customer they bring to any hotel they have deal with.
Breakfast was standard. As usually in every hotel in Golden Triangle you had a choice of toasts, butter, jam and omlett. That's all.
Rooms are quiet but if you have people chatting on the corridor you won't be able to sleep as it is very noisy!!!This happened to us so no sleep .
On a positive note ; it was one of the best bathrooms we came across in our journey.
Based on the price we didn't expect a lot. And yes as usually you had a bucket and a jar. Gazer and shower but an extra was a shower curtain which helps in not spilling water everywhere.
Towels weren't best quality but yet again this is what yo het for the price.
Rooms service... appaling.Ordered coffee and waited for over 20 mins . They finally "arrived" with tea ! So asked for coffe once again and after further 20 min got a very weak one.
Just a note to all travellling to India. Don't expect a strong coffee anywhere in this country. Maybe in starbucks.... but doubt it.
