This is an excellent hotel. I stayed in the "Casa Beneficiados", which seems to be part part of the hotel. I had a suite with a kitchenette, large living area and a separate bedroom component. It was very room, clean and modern fittings. It was up two flights of stairs with no lift. The breakfast range was ok. I had an excellent dinner in the restaurant, with first class wine and a good selection from the menu of the day.

We were so delighted to arrive at this lovely hotel after our grueling walk from Orrison in the rain. Our room was very nice with the nice walk in shower. Beds were very comfortable. Food was very pleasant and staff were very efficient and friendly. We enjoyed our breakfast before setting off on our Camino walk once again

Walking over the Pyrenees from St. Jean to Roncevalles makes for a long day. When we arrived in Roncevalles we were tired and wet (it rained a bit as we descended from the mountain pass). What a pleasure to come to this hotel - a beautiful building, with a friendly and welcoming staff; a lovely and comfortable suite with lots of space and light. We ate dinner here as well - quite wonderful. Highly recommended. The location can't be beat - right on the Camino, and next to the lovely local church, which is worth a visit.

We had a wet, cold and windy day on the Pyrenees and I will never forget the surprise I received on opening the door of my hotel room in this beautiful hotel! It is so beautifully renovated and even manages to have a contemporary vibe. After I lay out my wet gear I had a lovely shower in the walk-in shower and a rest on the comfortable bed. The room was so comfortable that I was loath to leave it and go down for dinner. Dinner was lovely, typical pilgrim food but tasty and enjoyable.
Had a great night's sleep followed by an adequate breakfast before leaving early the following morning for the next part of our walk. This hotel will stay in my mind for a long time.

Excellent location at the end of the first and very hard day of our Camino walk. Superb rooms. Staff wonderful. Lovely bar next door. Could not be better. The room was very spacious. Heating excellent with wonderful windows for fresh air.
