I stayed here for one week official trip .
Rooms are in bad conditions
-Torned pillow covers and Bedsheets.
-No restaurant
-No Gym (shown in the pictures)
-View out of window is terrible.
*They bring breakfast from outside and the options are Idly and Dosa from the nearby shop.
They don't accept card payments.
If you want water also you need to pay in cash prior to order.
They changed my room 3 tims because they didn't have any clean room to chec k in.

Basically if you want to have water you have to get it from out side.
You will get only a room n a bed most of rooms tv dosent have function set top box..n.yes no remote

Just wanted to tell you that I visited this hotel today i.e. Jan 24th,2016 and are not satisfied..... Not worth paying that price for the kind of facilities we get. Rooms were not clean. One of the AC not working.. Additional matrices were as thin as flying dish. No hot water. In appropriate calculation. Below is the pic of 3 matrices and also kept my feet for measure (I didn't get anything else as of now)... I am never ever going to come back and also I am not going to suggest anyone here....

The room size for three was quite OK. But furnishings are too old to appeal. The staff was courteous. Restaurant is under renovation and hence we had to go out for food. Fortunately couple of restaurants are near by. Only issue is that the whole area is smelly. I could not enjoy walking on any of the roads and hence did not go for shopping at all. Every time I have to come out of the hotel and walk on the road, I had to close my nose! Not nice surroundings to stay in. I do not recommend to stay in any hotel in and around the Royal Fort Hotel. Of course surroundings are nothing to do with the hotel itself.

Me and my family of four reached Rajahmandry very late by car from Chilka. Indeed it was after 10 PM. Our GPS was not working. We had some difficulty in reaching the Hotel due to language problem. Local people understand only Telegu.
After reaching we were given two excellent rooms (rather suites) and the boy attending us managed to bring dinner from outside at 11-00 PM. It was so nice an arrangement we felt bad that we had to leave the Hotel next morning as we were scheduled to reach Hyderabad next day. As it is not in tourist calendar the place is extremely cheap. Godabori River bridge and the barrage is a real beauty.
