I am not sure why people are writing good reviews on this hotel. I stayed here with my family for couple of days and my experience was really bad.
1. Mattress was very old.
2. Chairs provided were full of dust and not even a cover provided for it. I requested at least to provide towels to cover it but not provided.
3. Door locks were old and in one of the rooms we got locked from inside and they had to open the room door from outside after lots of effort.
4. TV's provided were so old that in one of the room the picture was not visible at all. TV's were there just for the name sake.
Only positive thing was the room size which was little bigger. But in the same price I stayed in far better hotels in Udupi. Location of the hotel is good. They have a very congested parking area to park some 5 to 6 cars.

Located in centralized place in Udapi. Very good property for family and children.
Very neat and clean. Service level is good. Nice restaurant open till 11.00 pm.
Tourist places are nearby. Krishna mandir is also very cloaseby.

Good budget hotel at good price and service . But nothing great . Has good restuarant at second floor for non veg food . Overall service ok considering the price . Rooms are good with natural sunlight although slightly old fashioned . Rooms are big enough . Overall if you are not much fussy and like old fashioned simple hotels and dont want to spend much than this is the hotel . service is good .

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as all the rooms were full in Manipal.Very good hotel with reasonable price.staffs are very good,Polite and Helpful..Service is good. Stand.24 Hour checkout is there in the Hotel.Hot water is available after 6 pm.During my Stay Hotel Restaurant was shut down for Renovation.so had to go out for meals. Its just 2 minutes walk from Bus stand ,5 minutes walk from the Famous Temple Shri Krishna Mutt.Overall my Experience was good.

I stay at Rukmini Residency whenever I come for a Mookambika visit-if only to freshen up in the morning before taking a taxi to Kollur, and for spending some time in the afternoon before catching an evening train or the next morning. Rooms are decent, hot water in the bathroom, helpful staff. Sadly, the restaurant they had has closed down and one has to walk across the road for meals.
This is not a luxury hotel by any means, but a good clean safe place to stay, close to the temple.
The best part for me is that you can plan your stay better with a 24 hour checkout.
