The receptionists had very good attitude and served us quickly, the room is large and has comfortable beds and has a really good view at night, the bathroom is clean and all facillites worked properly, the breakfast were really delicious and had many selection of foods, room service was also really good. Very recommended for those who will have a holiday in Semarang, because this hotel is also located at a very strategic place near Ciputra Mall Semarang and Simpang Lima (there you can find many street foods at night).

Santika Hotel Semarang, spent one night there just a few days before New Year. Santika Hotel, as always, never failed to satisfy me in serving breakfast. This hotel serves wide variety of dishes, especially Indonesian dishes, and taste pretty good, too. The location of this hotel was near Simpang Lima, and I enjoyed taking a walk to explore the surrounding. Many stores and restaurant are located nearby, so no need to worry about the access to purchase things or to get something to eat.

I checked here for my accomodation during my business trip. this hotel near to simpang lima and other place to visit. hotel staff are really helpful, since we arrived late and had to leave early, there is no difficulties for check in and check out

We booked this hotel through santika Web and we called & reconfirm that to reservation (Regina) this will be our special occasional visit and my husband day. Unfortunately the FO team lack of attention your guest purpose visit and action ( none special arrangement). we were picked up by the hotel transport and thank you for the nice men who picked us up. The hotel location is strategic in simpang lima area. easy to find anything
When we enter the lobby and very warm welcome by the bell person (forgot his name) with genuine smile. unfortunately reception (jimi) need to learn from the bell person how to give warm welcome. We asked him for higher floor and good view (hope not gonna disappoint us after got the room keys) then we went up to the room got surprised with room. got no windows, not even better view 10th floor, surprisingly we found ants in the bathroom (i got recorded video if needed) and a few spot on the bed. i called your duty manager incharge (lack of attention & action) and he's not even bothering us to check personally the room instead of just sending someone for exchange the sheet. well this is actually should be done check prior our arrival not after we arrived had a long trip. finally i called second time asked to change the room. the lady (forgot the name) just acted immediately gave us a better room. i have marked some spot in your bed sheet by the linen card to make sure get changed every time i asked for cleaning the room. (your bed sheet/cover cleanliness need serious improvement). The pool and gym were ok.
the 1st day on breakfast we were welcome by lady & men asked the room number. I thought we were supposed to lead to the table by that lady, unfortunately not and we have to walk around the restaurant and finding a free table (lack of service). i seen the live cooking corner for eggs station ( but none of cooker stand by) and there was a few people waiting just to have a fresh egg cooking and mostly the dish at buffet were empty every time i had breakfast ( not sure if anyone check the buffet)
It comes down to would I recommend or book this hotel again. Unfortunately it's a definite NO. My wife felt same way regarding hotel. Too much flash but personal service & cleanliness is lacking. I have it a two star rating because the hotel location is very strategic but the lack of attention to service detail and attention to service I cannot give anymore and let us left the hotel with unhappy feeling.

We stayed 2 nights for family vacation in Semarang. Actually we booked this hotel as we expected to have bathtub in our bathroom; in fact all bathtubs had been replaced with shower in all room type some time ago according to reception officer.
Location: very good, no doubt. Quite near from Simpang Lima, shopping center, culinary spots, book stores, mosque, souvenir center. Every Sunday the road in front of hotel will be occupied for a car-fee day at 6:00-9:00 a.m. However guest's car may still be allowed to pass the road if you wish to check-out early.
Services: hospitable & very friendly staffs, quick response to guest's request.
Breakfast: menu varies and are tasty; it also provides pancake/cereals/sausages/potato for you little one. We love this.
Room: spacious, we like the sofa which can be functioned as extra bed especially when your childâs sleeping-style is extremely active (which means, rolling from one edge to another edge of bed). Old style furniture but we don't mind with that as long as they are clean. Unfortunately, thereâs a small leakage of water closet; we didn't make any official complaint to hotel management about that; itâs better to be fixed to maintain its âgood hotelâ status. A suggestion for housekeeping, please don't miss to clean up dust at the far corner of furniture.
Pool: It provides 2 different pools, smaller pool is for children while bigger one is for adults, and they are clean.
Overall, we are satisfied staying at this hotel. We may consider coming again when visiting Semarang next time. Keep up your good services.
