Have just spent 3 nights at this lovely hotel for our wedding anniversary and can't fault it.Firstly it is amodern well decorated hotel and spotless.Our room was a standard but it was still very big ,bed was huge with mini bar safe and large screen tv .We booked breakfast which again was excellent with hot food ,cold meats fruit , cereal and pastries so plenty of choice for everyone.The reception staff were courteous very friendly and helpful and made checking in and out straightforward.
The location is ideal as it is 2mins from El Corte Ingles and 5 mins from the main shopping area and there are plenty of pinxtos bars close to the hotel.Also its a short walk to Casco Viejo and a pleasant walk along the river to the Guggenheim museum .
I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Bilbao.

Room is clean and the location is pretty convenient. There is a department store in 3 minutes and train station in 5 minutes away by walk.
The famous catheral and old town market is also near by in 10 minutes away by walk.
Reception is kind and willing to offer help.

Just got back from a 4 night stay at the Coliseo Bilbao. The hotel was nice, very clean with very little character. The location is really good and within walking distance to most places with lots of drinking and eating places.
We were offered an upgrade at 20 euro per night for a very large room which was very nice. Not sure it was worth the money but my wife thought it was good value.
The breakfast was simple and adequate, probably would have been better if we were early.

Very centrally placed with equal walking distance of 15-20 mins to Guggenheim, old town and shopping district. Looks old from outside but is top modern inside. Clean, well equipped rooms and a good breakfast is provided. Met three different people in the reception and all three were equally pleasant. We found it to be very good value for the money and we will book this hotel again if we come to Bilbao again.

It is one of the good hotels I've been. Very centrally located, modern design, all necessary amenities, very clean, everything to have a good rest. Breakfast is good. Staff is friendly. Price is moderate.
