The location is great but thatâs about it. For a premium hotel we expected more. The room was of a reasonable size but was tired. The bathroom could definitely do with a refurb.
The biggest problem was that of noise; the walls are so thin and poorly insulated that you felt your neighbours were in the same room as you! The woman in the room next door coughed all night - she may as well have been sat on the end of our bed it was that loud. Also, every plug that they plugged in seemed to have been amplified in sound.
Bed felt cheap.
Also, why canât you use the pool if you donât buy the spa package? I donât want to pay an extra twenty euros for a ten minute trip to the pool. I could understand charging for the gym and other services but the pool...
Wonât be going again.

A 20 minute bus ride on service C6 from the Airport (3.85) and the bus stop is very close to the hotel. They are going through refurbishment works, we got an upgrade to one of the newly refurbished rooms, we had opted for the harbour view. It gets the sun in the afternoon. Room was very spacious with a huge comfortable bed with memory foam mattress and topper. Safe (free to use), Mini Bar, mobile phone charging point and usb socket was a nice helpful touch. Bathroom was good size with great shower and good selection of toiletries. We had drinks in the bar (reasonably priced) but didn't eat in the hotel. 13 euro for breakfast we thought was a bit expensive. Plenty of local restaurants and cafes within a few minutes walk. Housekeeping kept forgetting to top up the milk for tea/coffee but brought a fresh supply when asked. The only negative was there was a charge of 20euro to use the pool, hot tub, sauna and spa - this was very steep, this is not a cheap hotel so you would expect these facilities to be free for guests. I didn't use these after finding out the charge. This took the shine off what was otherwise a very good hotel.

We booked a trip last minute and decided on this hotel for location and it had a gym, pool, sauna etc which we would use daily due to the time of year.
We have stayed in many hotels over the world and this is one we will not be returning to it recommending.
We arrived late after 2 flights to be kept awake by our neighbours and the curtain hanging off. The following afternoon my husband tried to get an hr or 2 sleep, as the floors are hardwood all you can hear is the scraping of chairs as they are moved. We then requested a quieter room which was sorted out.
We also found out that the gym, pool etc is not free for all guests, â¬20 for entry, not day, so once you exit you cannot go back in without paying another â¬20!!! This was not clear when we made our booking (not directly).
So not a great start, but we just had to get on with it.
The first morning I made a cup of coffee, there was 1 sachet of coffee and 1 decaf, with 2 small capsules of milk, really you need at least 2 for 1 cup of coffee. So you canât have the same coffee and itâs too strong to enjoy. Today the maid did not replenish the meagre amount of coffee, I asked reception to replenish but asked for double milk and coffee, to be told.....they could not do that as we are only allowed the allowance above and if it wasnât suitable and we wanted coffee to purchase it at the hotel bar!!!!
Iâve never known anything like it, so as Iâm writing this review I am sitting in the marina with a cup of coffee as I like it and not purchased from the hotel as suggested.
So in a nutshell, great location and views but thatâs it unless youâre happy to pay for coffee in your room and pay to use the pool, it seens this hotel is more interested in the money than its guests, will definitely not be returning or recommending.

As above. I travel very regularly and donât expect to pay extra to use a pool and sauna
The views from the lobby bar are stunning and the drinks are reasonably priced. We didnt eat in the hotel but all looked good.
Standard rooms are pretty good and the staff are very helpful (and multi lingual)
However, i must say that twenty euros to use the swimming pool was pretty unexpected and took the edge off this stay.

This is a clean hotel but with slightly dated decor in my opinion. Ideal location with the beach, the castle and the old town just a quick walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable and the facilities to suit
