We just had a quick over night stay before flying home - felt the room was too small but clean and quiet
Very disappointed with the bathroom - small, cramped and a hand held shower which made showering comfortably almost impossible as the water went everywhere

Fastest check-in in India! Very friendly, great hot shower, no window in our room, clean and comfortable bed with great pillows, working elevator.
Our room was decently clean (for India) although if I'm judging by American standards, I would say the bathroom badly needed a wipe-down. And the hallway carpets are probably some of the dirtiest I've seen in my life. Still, for a layover, this is a good place.

We arrived in Delhi for the first time, exhausted after a succession of long flights, and found that this hotel had cancelled our booking without any prior notice. We couldnât find anywhere else to stay in the same price bracket and we ended up spending an absolute fortune to get alternative accommodation. What a lack of care and consideration to guests. Iâd suggest you stay elsewhere if you donât want to take the risk of this happening to you too. The staff were completely nonplussed by the fact that we were in Delhi without anywhere to stay. They offered no help whatsoever and speaking to them by phone was a completely joyless experience. Basically they just said it was âtoughâ. Iâd suggest you stay elsewhere rather than take the risk.

This is the second hotel I stayed in New Delhi before our departure from the country. Compared with the Star Grand Villa where we stayed upon arrival, this is a gem. It is close to the airport, much better maintained and despite the room was a bit small, it met all my needs including a rather clean bathroom and nice bed. The food in the hotel restaurant is also reasonably ok. Not bad at all for short stays.

Had to check into a hotel late in the night, to catch a morning flight from T3. Shanti Palace met most of the criteria for such short stays...close to the airport Rs 270/- from T1 and Rs 100/- to T3 , Clean for the price , Okay bathrooms , Satisfactory breakfast. Don't take airport transfers ....you can save money using Ola. Don't expect a 4 star hotel standard @ Rs 3000/-. Online booking sites are cheaper than the hotel website.
