We went to Udupi recently and this hotel is on the highway itself and they offer good deals on the rooms as well and the food there is awesome, do not forget to try the ghee roast chicken there its the best .

Food is good and wide variety to choose from. Service was average. The place could be better managed. They serve alcohol as well so could be a let back if you are going with family. The place could be neater and not as clean as it looks. Have not stayed in the hotel so I am not sure how good it is.

Restaurant it is that we visited. Looked good from outside. Once we enter, then the music starts. The steward is reluctant to listen to you. The waiter leaves some number of plates on the table irrespective of how many you are. No matter what you order, they bring what they argue you ordered. And one can travel Udupi-Mangalore-Udupi by the time the 'food' is brought. After all that, one better pay the bill and leave than eat the 'food' to have some fresh mind instead of stomach pain and horrible stale food.
I wonder when they are shutting it down!!!

During my stay in Udupi Jan end 2017, I had booked 2 rooms in the hotel. The stay was pleasant, the staff are very friendly and polite. They are very well versed with usual requests coming from guests and know exactly how to address them.
Another rare specialty with this hotel is, the bar and the restaurant attached with the hotel serve excellent food. You need not look for any options outside, you must totally rely on the food from the restaurant itself.
All in all complete value for money and very hospitable staff at the hotel.

Sharada restaurant is the must go restaurant,if one wants to eat really good chicken ghee roast . I have tried the chicken ghee restaurants from lot of restaurants in and around but nothing can beat sharada. Another must try dish from this place is fish masala fry.
