Good room but was given a smoking room while I requested for non-smoking.
The roof top bar and restaurant is awesome.
Front desk is pathetic. At my check-out, they made me wait for half an hour to get the supporting food bill of previous evening. One guest was waiting for check in for an hour and one guest went to other hotel while I was waiting to get my supporting food bills. The front desk people were absolutely indifferent.
The towels (tried both towels kept in the bath) stink of typical massage room towels. Perhaps they mix up spa and room towels.

It was an overnight stay for me at Shelton. Its an average hotel, food was strictly ok, wifi is slow and staff is good. It's located centrally in the city and convenient commute from the hotel to anywhere.

This hotel is likely the best a western traveler can do in Rajahmundry, but it is average, or slightly above. The rooms and spaces need some freshening and updating, but they will suffice. Overall clean and good service - EXCEPT - a very erratic connection to the internet. Good wifi signal in the hotel and rooms, but no connection to the internet. Calls for assistance were answered, but usually not resolved. Patience turned out to be the key - wait for the connection to startup and then download or answer emails fast - as it may not be up again anytime soon.

I had the opportunity to stay in the hotel during the festival season of Pongal.
The hotel was all decked up for the occasion and special decoration was done.
The place was full of activities and large number of people had turned up in the restaurant for Breakfast / Lunch and Dinner.
The large crowd was bound to affect the service resulting in to shortage of dishes.
Hotel had a not so crowded gym with all essential machines and weights.
I could not go to the roof top swimming pool, but the restaurant on 6th or 7th floor was a relief from maddening crowd and served tasty food efficiently.

I have stayed here a couple of times. The place is in the heart of the city, the staff is cordial and friendly. The buffet spreads are not great however decent, the rooms are good. Be a little wary of the house keeping department as they have a tendency of losing clothes. Please ensure to have a proper list signed before you handoverð
