Good for a night, restaurant good, good bed, the room was a bit simple for a honey moon, we had some fabulous rooms "standards" in over cities of radjasthan. We situed in new delhi, and quiet place...

1. Good location surrounded by greenery inside the residential area at Sundar Nagar - feels like you are 'far from the hustle and bustle in Delhi '

9. Room Size is OK.

1. The lift is superslow and old. Need replacement both for speed and safety.
2. Room service is extremely slow especially if you are ordering for dinner at room.
3. A strict No - No for smokers. Every time you have to come down from the room.

Shervani is situated in Sunder Nagar close to the zoo, surrounds are quiet and leafy. There is a small collection of upmarket shops nearby, ATM, and spots for hailing a cab or auto. The hotel itself has dated interiors but is clean. Rooms are furnished in a 'business hotel' style, AC and safe available. Hot water, tea and coffee facilities. The AC was a bit temperamental, but the room is otherwise comfortable. The breakfast includes continental and Indian options, it is not amazing but adequate. Staff were all helpful. Overall, this is a decent stop for a clean, no frills experience. I am not sure how it compares price wise to other options in this price range in Delhi.

On business in Pragati Maidan, it is a good choice. In a quiet leafy corner, next to the zoo, away from Delhi rabble and close to Khan Market and Nizamuddin. It has a small open sitting are in the back which can be a luxury in Delhi.
Stayed in the suite which is more of a larger executive rooms in other hotels. Rooms are well maintained and clean.
Staff is cooperative and breakfast just about average.

Front desk staff is very helpful and are able to give guidance for places to visit in and around the city. I have been to other hotels in India and the hygiene standards here are far better.
The breakfast is very complete and the rooms are always clean and tidy.
We give it the highest rating and strongly recommend it to other travelers.
