We stayed here for couple of days.
Nice hotel good restaurant.
Very polite staff. Their breakfast is very good, nice spread . I give 5 Stars.
I was in orchids room which was spacious and in good condition.

This is a very old hotel which need lot of maintenance and lack professional staff. It has bonfire facility which lasts just for half hour. Staff need to know more manners and should acquire professionalism. It has lots of space with lot of facilities but not all facilities are working. Its restaurant looks like a road side dhaba. It has a coffee plantation but not maintained. Gym and swimming pool or any other amenities non functional. Rooms are big but average.
campus of this hotel is huge and is located at a very prime location with many of the sight seeing options just within the radius of 3 kms. Breakfast options were ok. Wifi was functional only at reception.

Rooms are spacious and value for money. They have good options for restaurent and bar, spa and other facilities. Also they have space for strolling or spending time sitting in the coffee plantation area. It is at height and view is good from top.

Nice Hotel located in the heart of the Yercaud City. Best Budgeted hotel and nice maintained. Its not easy to maintain a property in a hill station but this one is good. Not but the least food is Good and Tasty. No Stomach upset advisable to have it.

It was a last minute plan to go to Yercaud.. I chose Shevaroys because all the other good ones were taken. From Bangalore, took Dharmapuri - Krishnagiri highway which needs no explanation. But Google map showed a wrong route because of which we had to take a horrible road for the last 45 km. So if you are heading to yercaud from Bangalore, don't take Google map's help. Head straight to Salem Town and ask for directions. Very good road and as you climb up, you can enjoy a picturesque view of the eastern ghats.
Reached hotel by 12:30 pm and was greeted at the reception. It has ample parking space. The hotel itself is pretty big in terms of area. I had chosen the orchid suite. Reachd the room only to find out bad and smelly bed sheets. I complained and They changed it promptly.. Even though the building is a little old, the service is impeccable. That's what I loved about Shevaroys hotel. Ordered lunch which was very expensive. But it was tasty.
Yercaud Lake and a beautiful park are at walking distance from the hotel. The hotel has its own Chinese restaurant which is good. It also has an attache supermarket which helped me buy a few baby's accessories. A few concerns I had was that there is no wifi and there was intermittent power cut. So every time, the backup supply was switched on after 5 minutes. Until then it was dark inside the room. And my kid was a little terrified. Also the television has no set top box and the broadcasting clarity was real bad. Had a nice stay with family for two days. This is my kid's first trip. So shevaroys will be remembered :)
