It is widely known as Satpura ki Rani (Queen of Satpura), situated at a height of 1100 m in a valley of the Satpura Range in Hoshangabad district. The highest point in the central India region and the Vindhya and Satpura range; Dhoopgarh at 1,350 m is located here. The total area of Pachmarhi Biosphere Reserve is 4981.72 km2. It is located at Longitude 22° 11 to 22° 50N and Latitude 77° 47 to 78° 52E. It covers parts of three civil districts, viz., Hoshangabad (59.55%), Chhindwara (29.19%) and Betul (11.26%). It includes three wildlife conservation units viz., Bori Sanctuary (485.72 km2), Satpura National Park (524.37 km2) and Pachmarhi Sanctuary (491.63 km2). These altogether has also been notified as Satpura Tiger Reserve (1501.72 km2) Tourists visit Pachmarhi throughout the year. Pachmarhi also has a lot of cave paintings in the forests, some of which have been dated to be as much as 10,000 years old. NOTE - Nearest city is Pipariya. Tourists are advised to carry BSNL mobile network connections as all other networks have not yet started. Now idea mobile is working from May 2012. There are 5 ATMs at Pachmarhi, 3 of State Bank of India and 2 of Axis Bank.

Very nice hotel ! Quite reasonable , pretty good satisfactory service and cleanliness which is main a main part we seek for 9 out of 10 for it. If u don't get room at mptdc resorts den krishna is a good option to opt for. One can prebook rooms as well.

I choose this hotel after doing lot of research on the internet. I would say that it was a good choice. The owner, Mr Maheswari is very cooperative and he provided us with all the help he could. Pachmarhi is small hill station, a 2 day stay is enough to cover most spots. The rooms and the bathrooms were spacious and clean. The food provided by the hotel is also good, just tell the cook, Rajesh about the amount of spice and oil you want in your food. The best thing about sight seeing is that the rates have been fixed by the local administration , so you don't have to bargain .We were a group of 5 and we arranged the vehicle through the hotel itself. The location of the hotel is in the market area itself. You can walk around the town after completing the sightseeing of the day. The room rent is reasonable, just try to plan your trip in the off season

I went on 22nd March to 25th March'2016, to Pachmarhi, and I found the Hotel is the best in Pachmarhi, the Owner and his son Madhusudan, Manager Kamlesh, and the Chef Rajesh are the Class-1 gentlemen. I recommend Hotel Shree Krishna as No.1 destination in Pachmarhi in all aspects.

Nice hotel Staff are co-operative, hotel is located in nice place with in the main market so you bit area to roam after dinner.

1) don't take room no 103 on first floor as staff bedding is there only so when so ever you are leaving or entering
the room easily all things are visible to them.
2) no WI-FI in room and not in hotel
3) after charing good for the rooms the don't provide complementary tea/coffee or breakfast

We enjoyed 2 days stay at Hotel Shri Krishna, Pachmarhi in November 2015. We were group of 17 people. The hotel is located in heart of city.
All rooms are clean, comfortable with toiletries, AC & TV facilities. But there is no lift & wi-fi facility.
Hotel owner is very helpful. He arranged gypsy for our sightseeing. The staff members are also good & friendly.
There is a small kitchen at terrace. Kitchen owner was very polite. He arranged our breakfast, lunch & dinner at terrace itself. He served all delicious dishes with smiling face & with love. He is so nice person.
I will recommend this hotel.
