Quiet a modest place for a budget friendly time. I recommended this for quick food, short term stay but not long term as it may get difficult. The nearby locations are prime and pretty attractive. The views are good, improving around here.

We stayed in Silver Inn hotel in Mumbai in December 2017 for business purpose. It is nice hotel in Andheri area. Their restaurant is not so impressive. But one may get better food options around the area.

We stayed here on 2 separate occasions within the same trip. The hotel is located very close to the Mumbai International Airport - a real plus given how insane the traffic is. It has 2 different standards of rooms - the first time we got an older upper floor room and the second time a lower much more modernized room. The rooms were clean with comfy beds and the more modern room was well appointed. On its website this hotel describes itself "as the perfect blend of amenities for business travellers", yet the front desk staff were next to impossible to deal with, the breakfast area staff were incredibly slow and the free WIFI cut out all of the time.The only person who seemed to try very hard was the doorman. In addition we were with the NGO group where, because it was oversold, the hotel gave a card key to a complete stranger, who then admitted himself to one of our team member's rooms in the middle of the night!!! Unbelievable.

I have reviewed many hotels over the years and never given a rating below 3, but I feel compelled to give the Silver Inn a '1". Imagine if you will booking a single room, occupying the single bed, falling asleep and then have another guest enter your room at about 2 A.M.; and slide into bed beside you. Believe it or not, this is what happened in November 2017. Further, the front desk offered no feasible explanation and at no time ever offer up an apology, but did provide a negative attitude for the balance of the stay.
I would not recommend this hotel.

After having stayed for five years in this property and never complaining about often shortcomings, i had the worst experience of my life during my last trip [ 20 to 22 nov] when i checked out
After having accepted the booking and without seeing the booking receipt which is from the hotel, the lady at the reception made a statement to her colleague - whenever you get new gst request invoice, forward me such requests, and i won't take such bookings forget about entertaining such requests.
Such is the behavior of staff who doesn't appreciate that customer signs the pay check; owner is just a facilitator!
