The hotel is located on Srinagar -Leh highway on the banks of Sindh River. One gets a superb 360° view of entire Sonamarg bowl from the hotel. Very courteous staff. The area is safe from any disturbances and easy to approach from Srinagar airport.

It is neat and clean, with good view from the rooms. There is ample open space outside, with lawns to sit and enjoy. the river is adjoining at the back,which adds to the beauty. We got a good deal. the manager Shanty sharma is efficient, hard working and sincere, which made our stay comfortable.

We a group of 14 people stayed at hotel Thajwas glacier on 11th June 2016 on the way to Leh from Srinagar.it is a small hotel around 20plus rooms located on the banks of
sindhu river..we booked after getting feed back from TripAdvisor. exotic location.rooms are clean.good view of river and mountain from the room.food is also good and reasonable.we got it around rs2000/-where as sindh resort (largest in sonmarg) nearby was charging 8000/-.lots of open space available for the hotel.there is a small shop for cloths and handicrafts.no other scope for activities. market is nearby.generally all hotels are expensive in sonmarg,gulmarg area .but i saw some hotels were available as low as rs 1000/-walk in rate.IT is worth staying for 2 nights at sonmarg and tejwas glacier.the hotel is located between highway and river.

This is one of the best hotels to stay. Courteous staff, hotel along the river and facing a glacier, this is one of the best hotel for a leisure stay. Food was awesome and the desert during dinner is not to be missed.

During our Shri Amarnath Yatra visit we had stayed at Hotel Thajiwas Glacier, Sonmarg. The hotel is very nice, room services and food quality was just amazing. I booked our package for Shri Amarnath ji yatra by helicopter for 06 July darshan through Yatharth Travels, Ms. Vinita provided us Hotel Thajiwas Glacier at Sonmarg and Hotel Asian Park in Srinagar. Her provided accommodation and transport services were fantastic. Just can recommend you Hotel Thajwas Glacier for Sonmarg and Asian Park, Srinagar without any hassles.
