Accessibility - Fake

In Brief:

Good:
Location - Excellent Location very near to all the great places in Colaba
Service - Nice attitude of most of the staff.
Hygiene - Mostly ok with some letdowns.
Wifi - Free

Bad:
Accessibility - Advertised in Tripadvisor as being Accessible for wheelchairs. ITS NOT.
Comfort - Music disturbing from next door bar.
Bathroom - Mouldy looking edges to the bath-tub and the shower door.

We chose this place mainly on the location and the "Wheelchair Accessibility" filter. When we arrived we were confronted with two high steps. No ramp and no temporary ramp available.

When we got to reception we reminded them that we had arranged to have an accessible room. Even though we had called to let them know our needs it seems they didn't understand what is meant by accessible.

The young man on the front desk was very helpful. He showed me at last 8 rooms so that we could find one that was slightly suitable.

There were none. They couldn't give us a refund either as it was booked through Agoda.
We were stuck with rooms which we wither couldn't get in at all or at least the bathroom was too small, had a bathtub and anyway the door was 24" wide which would prevent a wheelchair from entering.

They put us in a awful room which suffers badly from noise pollution coming from the bar next door until 1am.

Affordable and Comfortable

Visited Mumbai for the first time with my dad.We had an awesome time staying here and loved how near it was to some very good museums, India gate and restaurants. Very close and accessible to Mcdonalds/starbucks and other good restaurants like BadeMiya and Delhi Darbaar. Havana Cafe and Bar has some very good food as well. Theres also a good night market close by.

The only downfall the Hotel had was the cramped hallways, small rooms and somewhat rude receptionists depending on what kind of day they are having. Other than that i would recommend the hotel for a good short stay and an affordable price.

A great stay. Fab Location..Just 100 meters from Gateway of India.

Had a good experience here. Near to gateway of India, staff is very supportive and food is good.The Breakfast spread was excellent. Room Service prompt on time.Receptionists are very helpful. In a word whatever you want or wish to get you will get it; it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Fabulous downtown location - stylish modern rooms

Regular guest at this discreet and friendly hotel in the heart of downtown.
Focus is on comfortable, well furnished and spacious rooms rather than extra facilities. All rooms have quality fixtures and fittings, all are bright and airy with large sliding windows.
Recent modern elevator and electronics add to the general feel of modern luxury.
Great value for the quality and position.

Comfortable city hotel

It's a well-located hotel on a busy street in Colaba, close to attractions such as Gateway of India and National Gallery of Modern Art ( walking distance). The Bar Stock Exchange is next door. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, they allowed a later check out and luggage storage as we had a very late flight. They serve a nice breakfast and you can also order other meals at their restaurant. We were 3 adults sharing the room which came with twin beds and a sleeper couch. It was not much extra space with the sleeper couch opened but we managed. We had clean white linen and towels. The bathroom is very cramped and could do with a revamp. Felt safe walking in the near surrounds at night as it was a busy well-lit area.
