Just infront of Shri Ramanathaswamy Temple and most convenient place to stay.
Booked and paid online a month before for an a/c double bed room and reached the hotel on 28th December evening. But the hotel manager gave us a room much inferior than the money paid. When objected, he said that all other rooms are occupied already. After refusing to stay in such a room, we were shown two more better rooms which were vacant.

We visited Rameswaram on Oct 1st. The booking at Sunrise was done considering the fact that this is right opposite to the Temple. That in itself is the best advantage of being here. After the Holy Snan from the temple it is easy to get to the hotel to change your dress and go for the Darsan. There was heavy rush when we arrived at Rameswaram and the Police were not letting our vehicle to go near the Hotel. So when we called the hotel, they sent in a tricycle to carry the luggage, which was quite helpful. Used Google maps to reach the hotel on foot, which was much better than asking the route to the people out there. But this can be annoying if you have kids and old people with you.
The rooms were average.. TV not working (209), AC was noisy.. but all this would not bother you much when your main goal is Temple visit and good Darshan. Hotel does not have a restaurant, but there are many nearby.

This hotel located in east car st, nearby temple and sea.
Its best place to stay for families and pilgrims who are looking for stay nearby temple .
Staff are ok.
And service is good.
Its a budget hotel to stay nearby temple.

being opposite to swami temple they was not at all good in their behavior and so rude natured... waste.. bad rooms. AC was not working properly.. no clear channels , bad odour in rooms.. just fainting... never choose even though they give it for cheap price... for 1500 its notat all worthy nor good

Room is quite good, but they need to concentrate on cleanliness of the room. Located directly opposite to the temple's main entrance. Only bikes are allowed to the hotel. Since the roads are blocked from vehicle movement in east & south mada roads.
