breakfast is excellent. room is spacious with low cost and privacy. great location. it is value for money with basic amenities. housekeeping very helpful. reception and travel desk very co-operative. Suggested.

We booked this hotel through a travel agency in Kolkata. Checked Tripadvisor rating and found OK. The booking was for two nights first, then a round trip of Rameswaram and Kanyakumari, and then back for the third night. It is a budget hotel with decent amenities.
Everything was fine for the first two nights. The reception was good; a very decent room given (no temple view though; however we didn't ask in the first place). Room service was great. Their roof top restaurant provides a fantastic view of the Meenakshi temple; we enjoyed dinner there. By the way, they only serve veg food but it was not a problem for us. Breakfast was served at the ground floor restaurant; and the food quality was very good. We liked the hospitality.
They have a travel desk run by a third party. We booked a car for five days for our round trip. The travel desk manager was very helpful and provided us with great tips for the tour. The package price was not very high and you have a selection of cars according to your budget and group size. The driver, Mr. Mani, was a fantastic person and we had a quick bonding with him. The ac Indica (adequate for the two of us) was comfortable, except on the last day when the ac was not running well. It is prudent to mention here that the road condition was excellent. It took 3.5 hours from Madurai to Rameswaram, 5.5 hours from Rameswaram to Kanyakumari, and around 4 hours from Kanyakumari to Madurai.
We returned to Hotel Supreme on the last day afternoon; and the experience started to sour. We were allotted a room at the back with no ac, inadequate lighting, poor bedsheets. When I highlighted these and politely asked why the room is so much different from the previous one; they replied equally politely that the previous room was upgraded; this room is not. I expressed my dissatisfaction, but didn't pursue as we just had to spend the night and check out next morning. The management didn't seem to take this seriously and such attitude was not acceptable.
Barring this small issue, my overall experience with Supreme hotel was good. The real plus point is the roof top view of the temple. The location is very near the temple; you can just go out and take an autorickshaw. By foot its not very far as well. Should I recommend this hotel? Yes, of course. Just ensure you are not given a "not upgraded" room :).

Visited madurai for one night with family booked the queen suite ..very good room neat clean furnitures were good bathroom also clean . Balcony area also good and big ...this hotel is good for family as it is nearer to station and other transport ..staff responsive and helpful.. pluspoint is the rooftop restaurant adds good view of the temple and other areas ...food is nice overall good hotel good deal

Good Service by Supreme hotel as the booking of room was booked a week ago wide booking reference No 4702 (confirmation was sent to the email) for check in dated 26th Jan2018 and a phone call was made to the receiption couple of hours before check in, Reply was given by the Reception No room was available and informed me that they will arrange some other place for

One of the best mid range hotel located near to the Meenakshi temple and the railway station and with its outer look i thought the hotel was an average one but with its nice ambience and facilities like vast parking, space bar this hotel is the best one.The manager Ravi was a nice guy who and his team offered marvelous service.
