This is a pretty budget hotel with very basic amenities. I stayed there for a single night and I would say I could just manage it. Otherwise rooms are flirty and untidy and room service is also very poor.
Go for this only if you are single and low on budget.

It is not very close to the golden temple and not very far. It is away from the crowd but a nice new neat and clean hotel and the service is really good, the tariff resonable and the food is good too.
Best Experience: The tandoori stuffed paratha breakfast was too good!
Beware of the beauty

My daughter had recommended this hotel due to her good experience earlier a year or two ago, with rooms so large that one could dance, and bathtubs in the wash rooms. The hotel is also centrally airconditioned. The owner was kind enough to accommodate 3 of us in a double room from 4pm to 9 pm the next night at a very discounted price. The hotel lobby and reception is beautiful, but unfortunately the rooms are past their hey day. Light fittings are broken or missing, wash room taps do not work and the overall cleanliness is below standard. The Manager put us into a room which was so small, that we had to take out the chairs and coffee table. Then he tried to persuade us to take an additional room. They have a good restaurant, where unfortunately the AC did not work. It appears that the Managers are only interested in bar area and are not at all concerned about guests. This is a very good hotel, which has been mismanaged and not maintained.
Funny how bad this hotel is!! Don't be deceived - awful place

You could make a comedy show about how **** this hotel is. Don't be deceived by its flashy exterior and high prices! After having to move room 3 times due to the place being about as dirty as an Amritsar street dog's hind end, the boiler in the last room didn't work. I ordered a cup of tea, it never came but they still tried to charge me. So I decided to try and make one with the kettle in the room, there was only one socket, with loose wires for the television I nearly killed myself trying to unplug the television in order to plug the kettle in. Both managers at the desk looked at me and treated me as if I was one of their staff, i.e. they were extremely rude, lazy, unapologetic and unhelpful . The poor staff were doing everything whilst the managers sat behind the desk laughing. The next morning we ordered breakfast, it was like the chefs had never come across butter before, wedges and chunks underneath the toast. The omelette had soggy bread soaking inside it! We had to ask to use a shower in another room where the boiler worked, reluctantly we were allowed to do so. Still not a single apology or further effort to make amends for the appalling and disastrous experience. When it came to paying the bill I had to argue and argue for even the smallest discount! Even then it was very small. If it weren't for my wife I would still be there arguing with them. No apologies and compensation - the managers are a joke and are ruining what should be a high class and nice hotel with such high prices. We've stayed in nicer places for 300 Rs. Do not go here. Simple.
