It has excellent value for money. Superb place run, by some very capable staff. Everyone was very courteous and respectful. Loved the rooms and the hotel. Excellent ambience. The only thing I feel that could use a slight improvement is the food. Please don't get me wrong, it was good but it could of course use a little improvement. But all in all I have to say my stay was SUPERB.

Booked in and stayed
one night. Room is spacious and comfortable and the restaurant is simple and canteen style but nonetheless good. My main concern was that I was on the ground floor not far from the reception and I could hear the noise of people coming in and out till late at night and as from 0500.

Stayed here as a family of 8...well appointed rooms...very clean and well maintained..good home cooked food!!...my only suggestion will be to provide luggage racks in room - out of the four rooms, ours was the only one not having it - I did not check with the staff if they could provide us with one...was a tad difficult every time you needed to take out or put something back into the suitcase...

Tara Niwas has to be the best budget hotel in Jaipur. If there is such a thing as a touch of luxury on a budget then this place has it. Me and my partner Pete felt very relaxed at Tara Niwas. The staff are great, no hassle, very helpful and they leave you alone until you need something. Then your request is dealt with very quickly. It feels casual yet professional at Tara Niwas. The gardens and terraces are lovely places to sit and there is good free WiFi in your room and thru the building. The rooms are a good size and are clean. They have a safe, a fridge, kettle, a really good, powerful, hot shower and a bath tub too and have beds to rival any 5 star hotel I've stayed in. The best night's sleep. The area is quiet too so there is no noise at night. The restaurant food is really good and we had breakfast brought up to the room each morning whilst we watched the news. I love breakfast in bed. The restaurant downstairs though is a nice place to sit and eat. Do have the deluxe thali. The best! I got a great deal, just 6500rs for a 5 night stay. You just can't beat it. Excellent value. It's easy go get around too. There always seems to be a rickshaw passing outside which are really cheap. Getting to the MI Road where you enter the Pink City with all the bazaars and good shopping is about 10 mins away. Do book Tara Niwas. I definitely will be booking a room here every time I come to Jaipur. Big thanks to all the staff. Lilly and Pete.
