Really enjoyed our stay here, great location opposite the beach and really close to the train station. Staff were really friendly. Very clean and comfortable, could not fault it. We stayed all inclusive which was great value for money. A 4 star hotel with 4 star service. Entertainment every night. Cannot wait to return.. A gem of a find.
staff are the best

I stayed here for a long weekend for my birthday and had a fantastic time. All the staff was so helpful and took time to sort things out for us, the food in the hotel was good something different every night, the hotel was very clean. The beach is literally across the road from the holiday and the train station is couple yards up too.
There are lovely little shops and restaurants around which means you donât have to go far, but we did travel into calella and catalunya.
Catalunya is like being in the West End to busy for a relaxing holiday. Pineda de Mar is just lovely and very one We met was lovely too.
Definitely place to come back too and to bring my children too.
Avoid!

We've just returned from a weeks stay here at the four star hotel. It's more like a 2 /3 at most! I've been coming to pineda for 15 years now and stayed every year at the hotel sorrabona next door. Always wanted to try this hotel as it seems to be more lively and a bit different to the sorrabona but I was very disappointed. Safe to say we won't be coming back! Staff are friendly and helpful but the hotel lacks everything!! It's desperate for a revamp!
We were met on our first night by a row of parked mobility scooters that were on charge in the corridor between the bar/reception/dining room! Not really what you'd expect to see in a 4* hotel! I don't know wether it was just the time of year we visited in but it was more like a elderly retirement home/ vacation rather than the 'posh' hotel it's made out to be. (No disrespect to anyone who was on holiday here).
The pillows are poor :( we requested an extra pillow as the one in the room are paper thin and we received one to our room but it did take about an hour!
The food is not the best. We went down for dinner at 7.30pm on our first night (time it opens) and we're met by people rushing and I mean literally running into the dining room to be first at the food. People were eating off there plates before they had even sat down at the table! Never seen anything like it!! The food it's self was not good at all. Lots of choice but not tasty, very sloppy typical 'all inclusive type buffet food. Every night we just ate chips and then found our selfs in the supermarket buying food as nothing was really edible at the hotel! The chef wasn't the most hygienic when it came to cooking raw meats and then serving cooked pasta straight away on to people's plates wearing the same raw chicken contaminated gloves! Safe to say we didn't eat anything from that area of the dinning room.
The room is a good size lots of space. Basic decor with 2 single beds put together, bed side table, dressing table with fridge and glasses, wardrobe with safe inside (have to pay for a code at reception) But the bathroom is so small! And our bathroom had 2 showers for some silly reason! 1 over the bath and another in what I can only describe as a caravan shower! And yes it was plastic so if u accidentally touched the side (which you did because it wasn't big enough to put your arms up in to wash your hair) water gets out and floods the floor! Honestly don't even bother using it! I'm only small and could hardy get into it!
The walls are really thin so you hear everythingggggg and I mean everything! We were even woken up by the guest next door snoring and is alarm going off every morning! The beds are made every day and you get fresh towels each day but the cleaner kept forgetting to put a bath mat in the bathroom to step on to when you get out of the bath/shower so the floor was constantly wet or we had to use a hand towel which wasn't ideal at all!
The hotel really needs an update it's very basic, very old fashioned, and really dated.
The pool is on the roof but is tiny! (Open at 10am-7pm) there is a 'larger' pool and a smaller baby pool on the roof. There are sun loungers up there too but it's very cramped. You have to get a lift to the pool aswell so waiting for that can be a bit long! Also if you want a drink you have to go down to the bar on the ground floor so can take up to 20 minuets some times just to get a drink! (This may be different in summer time as there is a bar at the pool but it wasn't open during our stay which was the start of October)
There's a beach bar across the road which we ate at every single lunch time and stayed there all day most days we would recommend that 100%!
Overall we wouldn't come back here. Not like any of the other 4* we've stayed at ever!

just back from the pineda palace 4star hotel with a 5star attitude, could not praise the staff enough, any slight problem sorted, got some bad reviews about the card system but never had one problem, rooms cleaned every day, plenty of choice at the buffet and the view from 723 unspoilt beach brilliant.
