This hotel is very close to Tennoji station. Thus is very convenient to and from the airport. Also very convenient to other locations. Around hotel are many shops and restaurants. The room is clean and a bit small but just like other downtown hotels. So it is ok and considered a decent one.

This hotel locates next to the busy TennÅji Station (天ç寺é§
). It is very convenient with big shopping malls and local transportation nearby. However, the entrance is rather hidden and the reception is on the 3rd floor of a commercial building. It may take you some times to find it even with the help of google map !
As the price of this hotel is not very expensive (but still not cheap), it is a popular option for business people and tourists. The floor layout is complex and the standard room we got is relatively small (usual Tokyo hotel standard). There is only a medium size window in my room and the view is disappointingly bad that you will prefer to lower the curtain all the time. There are also other areas that need further improvement :
(i) the lighting inside the room is too dim;
(ii) all the desks (working desk and besides the bed) are very small;
(iii) the working desk locates at an odd position of which the chair will block the path when in use;
(iii) all the desk surfaces are totally black, this is not a good design as users may easily left things (e.g. mobile phone, keys, etc.) behind without notice; and
(iv) while the TV has an USB inlet, but it is not functioning at all. Guests cannot use the USB to play video / musics.
As my room rate did not include breakfast, we have breakfast downstairs in the shopping mall nearby. Nevertheless, the hotel should consider providing free breakfast for room reservation.
Staff are generally helpful and attentive with good command of English.

Registration is on the 3rd floor. It is kitty corner from the JR station and across from the Kintestu station, right next to Abeno CUES Town Mall. It is difficult to see the sign of the hotel. Walk toward the CUES mall and look for elevator lobby signs. The hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor. The front desk personnel speak very good English. The hotel is in a very lively neighborhood. A lot of shops and restaurants. Downstairs from the lobby elevator is Ippudo, a great ramen shop. Across the street is Matsuya a 24-hour restaurant where you can get excellent Japanese meals which are very inexpensive. I stayed here twice. The first time I stayed overnight, left my large luggage in storage at the Trusty Hotel and went on a trip around Kansai and Chugoku areas. I returned, retrieved my luggage and stayed another 2 nights. When I checked in, my luggage and things were already placed in the room. They serve an awesome breakfast. First the server asks if you want some kind of French toast (w/whipped cream and fresh berries topping). Looked too sweet so I declined. The buffet was great with the chef cooking the steak and eggs the way you like it. Lots of choices, too many for me!

This hotel is a few minutes walk from Tennoji station and you can access either form under ground or sky walk, so you don't need to worry about weather.
The room is not so big but cozy.
You can enjoy breakfast at the restaurant, but it may be fully seated depends on hours so recommend you to call before you go. Try french toast. It is good as a desert.

Stylish but small room . Great service with a nice rooftop bar. Fabulous breakfast . Most enjoyable experience - for my first visit to Japan. A few subway stops to exclusive shopping area ( Shinsaibashi) or main tourist area of Namba.
