We took 2 rooms at this hotel & we are staying over there 2nd time... & again very impressed about Hotel hospitality.. We have never re-think about any other hotel option in Nainital than this hotel... Best location with best budgeted prices.... Strongly recommended...

Disappointing

There is not a lot to recommend this hotel.

It is located half a mile up a steep side street, not a problem for us but it could be for some.

On arrival we were told the restaurant was shut, and it appeared that this had been the case for some time. One of the reasons we booked this particular place was because it had a restaurant!

The "balcony" advertised in the blurb is actually a common walkway for all the rooms at the front of the hotel. As such it is neither private nor quiet. The view is good, though.

The room was small and dark, but because of the walkway outside we couldn't open the curtains.

The bed was sparsely made with just two very small pillows and thin blankets.

The bathroom was filthy and most of the plumbing was in need of attention to restore it to full working order.

Other than the view from the balcony, there is little to recommend this hotel. It was small, noisy, dirty and lacking a restaurant. Perhaps more than all this was the attitude of the staff who were never friendly. Despite having booked through a reputable online agency and having the option to cancel at short notice, I received an e-mail several weeks before our trip demanding payment in advance. I refused and pointed to the fact that I had guaranteed with a credit card but on arrival we were expected to pay in cash, in full as we signed in.

There are better places in town.

Nanital - A refreshing and tremendous trip

As Nanitaal is famous for seven taals. But Nani Jheel adjourn with Mall Road and Naukuchia Taal are two best place to visit in all Seven Taals. If you are interested in boating day time is good till evening but if you want enjoy the crowd and scenic beauty Nani looks awesome in evening with chilled wind.

And Governor House is also an amezing palce to visit and to see. British made their Golf Course inside that. And Koi mil Gaya shooting has been done.

I Stayed in Hotel Vikrant. Its near Zoo and Mall Road. They provide pickup and drop for Mall Road. Value for Money. Good food and service. Clean linens and rooms. Room are really nice with size and maintenance. Their owner and staff is supportive.

And you can get lovely view of Nani from rooms and veranadas.

Not worth of the money

Don't pay what they are asking, its not worth it, room service is bad, just find something else which is worth of paying that much money its a 2 star hotel so service is also 2 star but the price is very high...Food is also bad, there is no service after 8 or 9 in the night if you need something than you cannot get it because no one will pick your phone and you find no one in the counter as well, the location is such that its almost impossible.

WE HAVE BOOKED TWO SUPER DELUXE ROOM, BEST ROOMS OF HOTEL room no 103 and 104. THE ONLY THING THAT WAS DELUXE WAS ROOM RENT i.e Rs15000 for two room for two Night.
i.e Rs3750/- per room per night.
Even they dont provide us complimentary mineral water bottle.

Rooms aand rajai are smelling specially in room no 103. room mattress was not good for room no 103

Only one night guard is their in night and no one is their besides him. once we reach at hotel at 10:30 P.M and Night men has not Want to open the door of hotel. after wait for 10 minute he opens the door.

Never Recommended. From Mall Road to Hotel 12-13 minute walk and it was also Chaddai Type.

They have provide shuttle service upto 9pm only.
