Much to like about this hotel: great location so you can leave the hotel and be in the heart of Shimla, yet a little quieter than some other locations. You're in the thick of it plus all rooms have quite incredible views towards the Himalayas from their cute balconies.
Service (laundry, coffee ordered to room, check in, check out) was prompt, courteous and good.
There was no way to get anything to eat while i was there, but there were menus in my room...not sure if the kitchen was undergoing refurbishment? At any rate, there are lots of places to eat right nearby.
Tea and coffee making facilities would have been very much welcomed.
Bathroom ok.
Far from a luxurious, indeed barely a 'comfortable' stay...it is fairly basic, but at it's price, and with a secure front desk, it is a good choice for Shimla if budget is fairly limited.

We where for the second tome in Hotel White. It has good rooms with nice views. The rooms are clean and modern. The location is excellent in Lakkar Bazar. It is a little bit heavy to reach it with your luggage. We are happy here. Walking distance from the Mall. Nice and pleasant staff.

Shimla was a last minute plan and we booked this hotel without much thought. The room, ours had a balcony, was spacious, the furniture was tastefully chosen, and, most importantly, it was very, very clean. The view from the balcony was amazing, and the sheets and towels provided were quite fresh too. Although the hotel serves tea and snacks, they don't have a restaurant, so one always needs to plan their lunch/dinner accordingly.

First the good things-
i. Location- Excellent,The hotel is located right in Lakkar bazar and very close to Mall and Ridge.
ii. Rooms- Rooms were good and offer good views if you booked valley facing rooms.
Now the not so good things-
There is no provision for parking, even no provision to take your car to hotel doorsteps. One has to park at the road side at the main road below the hotel and climb a steep stairs to reach the hotel. They didn't provide any person to take our luggage even after calling them, although they had sent a coolie on direct payment basis to reach the hotel. It spoils the mood especially if one is coming after a long journey and have some members who has knee problem. Even if it is accepted that for location of hotel, parking near it is not possible, they should provide some place to park. Most importantly they should seriously consider sending their staff or their coolie to carry the luggage. All decent hotels provide this facility from hotels parking bay!Though they provided one person to carry luggage while checking out. They should make proper arrangements to carry luggage to the hotel without any cost.

Hotel is at very good location. Just 200 meters From the Ridge and Mall road. It is in lalkar bazzar which is itself tourist spot.
Hotel is small . There super deluxe rooms are mountains facing. Views are very nice from room.
Service is quick. There start up kit is very good.
But Hotel has no food arrangement. Outside there are many hotels to eat.
This hotel is main problem is this that they even have not a fan in rooms. Which is a biggest problem in peak summer and in evenings . Otherwise good hotel.
Hotel's taxi service is not Good at all. So take care.
