Room is small and let say clean but I noticed black hair in the shower. Mattres and pilow not confortable and when I include all noise from the hallway during the night I did not sleep well. Heater was hard for regulation so it was too hot or too cold in the room. Breakfast is continental but not worth 7.5 EUR, expecially if you take a care about what you eat. They did not offer any 'healthy' food, except maybe old apples and yogurth. In the supermarket bellow hotel you can for the 7.5 EUR buy something better.
Good thing is price, location and good selection of international programms on TV (for the time when you can not sleep due to the noise) :-)

This was the final night of a trip to Benelux and it was the right way to end it. The hotel is situated next to the main station (make sure you use the exits at the north end) and check-in was swift and with a smile.
The room was big enough, spotless, and the shower worked like a dream. Slept very well.
Breakfast was the usual continental fare with a nice selection of pastries and enough coffee to keep me awake for the next 20 or so hours.
An excellent base for exploring the area, and at a great price too.

Stay was brilliant. Staff were very helpful and insightful on what to do in Leuven. Booked last minute and was able to turn up no more than 3 hours later. We would defiantly stay at Ibis Budget Leuven.

Staff are friendly and efficient, breakfast ok. Rooms are small, but clean and quiet. The main attractions of this hotel are the central location right next to the train station and its economical price.
