A good hotel for transit time

I stayed there for few hours because my flight got delayed. Because Iâm too tired to wait, I stayed there for few hours. The room was small, but itâs enough to take a rest a bit. You can see the airplanes from your window room. And they provide tv to see your flight status. So it was enough just for transit.

Very convenient clean deal for stop over or pre early departure stay. Staff were wonderful and very helpful, the room was perfect. The corridor carpet could be improved or replace but otherwise a perfect stay.
Simple Airport Hotel

This hotel is located exactly in the Juanda Airport in Surabaya in terminal 1. As a transit hotel, the facilities doesn't adequate with the small rooms. Coffea Maker is not available in the room, also there is no place to put baggages. In certain times at midnight, the hotel lobby its side is sprayed with insect repellent. The smell reach the rooms and make us breathless and keep coughing. I experienced that when I stayed there. Unconciously, the guests that were sleeping inhaled the repellent. It turns out that this has been a routine. Be careful if you are staying in this hotel, because when you sleep, they could spray the repellent at midnight and it will be dangerous for respiration. The hotel management should care more towards this issue.
Average budget hotel

I stop by Surabaya airport and overnight in this hotel. The hotel location is ok right in the center of the airport is only 5 minutes walk to domestic airport. The room is ok. The bfast is only open after 5 am. Overall average hotel.
Poor check-in service

We travelled with an infant and checked-in during the wee hours. We hoped to have a smooth check-in but unfortunately it's not. Firstly I was told by the receptionist that he could not find my booking and I need to showed him the details of my booking. Prior to that I emailed the hotel that I would checked-in very late and the reservation system already had my credit card details to secure my booking. Next, we weren't given the room that we booked (a queen size bed & a bunk bed) and we were given a normal queen size room. We had to go to the reception again with an infant to get clarification. Although in the end, we were upgraded to a suite but the whole check-in experience was not pleasant.
