I enjoyed the central location of this hotel and its rather spacious and very clean room. I was a little shocked that there's only 1 hook behind the bathroom door. For a twin-sharing room, there's a towel rail below the sink which is completely not user-friendly for bathtowels. One of us ended up hanging out bath towel with our coats in the room.
No complimentary Wifi was provided either. Breakfast was quite good.

Really had a lovely stay. Front desk staff were friendly and informative, location was excellent. Walking distance to many attractions and food. Rooms were very small, but clean and in good repair. I would absolutely recommend it.

As other reviewers noted, the hotel has most of the facilities expected of an inner city hotel, and is close to many attractions & shops. It was less comfortable than the other hotels on our AAT tour, mainly because the view was a wall of concrete a few metres away facing the next building. It was so depressing I asked to be moved, and got a front view facing the concrete facade. I strongly advise against rooms below second floor or any room at the rear. I also advise that you ring and ask for a preferred room as the hotel has an automatic booking system, especially if you are with a tour group. Staff will help but if they are fully booked you will be disappointed.
One other gripe is the grubbiness directly outside the hotel where smokers congregate and have snacks. It was disgusting walking past the litter and stench, and absolutely no excuse for the hotel to allow this to occur. The carpet outside the lifts on our floor were badly stained and added to my conclusion that the hotel owner ought to do better.
Staff at the hotel are very helpful, but limited in their ability to remedy the issues.

We had really excellent service from check-in to check-out. Very good staff! We had a car so it is a bit hard to find a spot to pull over in order to check-in. There is limited parking for $25/day and we had reserved a spot. You have to get the card/code from reception to get into the garage. There were luggage carriers in the lobby which was very helpful. The room was not very big but two nice size beds with excellent linens. The hotel is situated right by Cathedral Square and we were able to walk everywhere. I would stay here again.

One of the cleanest hotels I've ever experience - you know that "clean" smell, well this place has it. Staff are great and so is the restaurant and bar. Breakfast was awesome. Very moderately price and room as more than adequate. Good night sleep too.
