The rooms were impeccably clean had a wonderful view of the river Meuse. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. There was plenty of free parking. We loved the waffles with IBIS stamped on them for breakfast :)
They have particularly lovely hot chocolate and an Amazing chocolate beer available at the bar.
If you stay here, you might like to visit Les Amourettes for your evening meal. An incredibly pink (!) restaurant about 5mins walk away - the food was delicious!

I like that hotel near the River Meuse. They have a nice broaden buffet breakfast. Parking free of charge next to the hotel is quite appreciated. Pity that the works in the city are so long, but the hotelier can't do anything.... unless repeat that to the mayor.

Located on Rempart d'Ãlbeau, Ibis Dinant is an affordable hotel with functional rooms. Conveniently located, the hotel is within walking distance to many of the main attractions in Dinant (around 15 minutes' casual walk to the Charles-de-Gaulle Bridge, La Citadelle de Dinant and the town's landmark, the Collegiate Church of Notre Dame de Dinant).
The Grand Casino de Dinant is close to the hotel. Near Ibis Dinant, you can find shops, restaurants, cafés and bakeries (pâtisserie/boulangerie).
We had a quiet, corner room with a lovely view of the river on the first floor. Basic room with TV, air conditioning, full length mirror, open wardrobe with clothes hangers, table and chair - 2 extra pillows were provided. Free WiFi and free parking is appreciated. Earplugs were provided in the room - a nice touch, handy for light sleepers.
An interesting feature in the bathroom is the shower cubicle with 2 body jets/body sprayers as well as a shower head. For those who enjoy strong, invigorating shower jets - do check this out.
Breakfast was good - a nice spread including sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, Belgian crepes, fresh buttery croissants, pain au chocolate (chocolate bread), cheese, fruits, cereal and yoghurt. For waffle aficionados - there is a waffle iron/waffle maker with a timer with which you can make your own waffles. With a choice of strawberry jam, powdered sugar, maple syrup, chocolate syrup and other toppings, you can create and customise your own waffles. I thoroughly enjoyed the mini waffles - they were delicious. A great start to the day - a nice breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful view. If you are a railfan/trainspotter, you can watch the trains go by at a distance from the terrace.
Although the room did not have coffee/tea making facilities, the hotel has a 24/7 bar. To the friendly and helpful hotel staff - I would like to express my gratitude for the assistance provided when I needed to look for a pharmacy in the wee hours of the morning.
In my personal opinion, this hotel offers good value for money for those on a budget.

Ibis Standard. Great location, very close to the city center, main attractions and offers free parking. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Plenty of restaurant options nearby. Excellent cost-benefit option to visit Dinant.

We stayed at the Hotel Ibis Dinant Center in September 2017. The hotel itself was nothing too special. It is very clean and quiet and has a lovely terrace overlooking the river. It seems to be one of the few places to stay in Dinant and served us well.
The breakfast was good but definitely overpriced. I would recommend checking out the Solburn Cafe instead!
Dinant is definitely a quirky little town and a one night, two day stay is more than enough. This hotel is in walking distance to the town center.
