Stayed for a week as had business in the city. I tend to stay in budget hotels and the Ibis as close to where I needed to be. It is also a good location if you want to go to the malls (there are 3 in taxi distance). But the traffic is horrendous, so it takes time and patience to get there even with 24 hour taxi outside the hotel.
Nice place, tooms typical Ibis, no frills but comfy. Breakfast was OK, and the Bistro had an OK menu choice. Lots noodles and rice as you would expect in Indonesia.
Staff very friendly, helpful and professional. Nothing was too much for them and the stay was very enjoyable apart from being in a taxi 2km from the hotel in a jam and the driver having no clue where the hotel was! Thanks to reception for talking with him and giving instructions along with Google Maps!
Depending on the time of day 30-90 mins to the airport but leave plenty of time. We left 5am was simple, we arrived 7pm was very slow. We booked via Bluebird online before we landed was IDR 210000, we paid cash on the way back IDR 165000 - cheap as chips!
Would stay here again next time am in Jakarta

Booked online and all was extremely clear and easy to do. On arrival the reception staff were very courteous and had all the necessary paperwork ready which greatly reduces the time taken. The room was clean and tidy, the room lighting is a little low and could really do with brightening up. all the staff were extremely helpful and when I needed to extend my stay there was no problem.
The only negative comments are that the menu is a little limited both for Indonesian and foreign foods, the other comment is that the entry sign for the rear entrance is a little small and taxi drivers do struggle sometimes.
Overall a very good hotel with a reasonable price

Our family of 4 stayed here in 2 rooms right on New Year eve before our flight back to Toronto. The proximity to the airport is around 45 minutes by taxi/private car without traffic.
The location it self is good, close to many great malls in West Jakarta.
On the other hand, there are few occasions that dismayed us of this property, especially for us with infant and a toddler.
1. We arrived and checked in approximately at 4 pm and was told that one of the room was not ready. After waiting for around 20 minutes, nonetheless we booked both room together and seeing us with 2 small children, I was told that they can provide us with the other room but it located exactly the opposite of each other (701 and 719) - no other option so we took it
2. after a long drive, I earlier planned to have an exercise but was told that the gym was closed due to the party preparation for tonight new year party and the entrance to the gym was blocked. It is too weird for a public facility was closed due to this excuses, we are in disbelief of this excuse given to us by the hotel about the gym.
3. Room sound insulation is not good, all night party was heard in the room so loud and clear. The party was loudly sounded without any consideration of any other guess who needed rest or sleep, or to a family guess who have small children.
4. Parking spaces are very very limited. Each entry is Rp 4000 already with hotel guess privilege. You must get a NEW parking ticket and get stamped by the Front Office every time your vehicle enter the parking. Very insufficient - they should use some kind of plate number recognition or bar code system so the same ticket can be used in and out anytime for hotel guess just like any other reasonable hotel in the time and age.
5. As an elite accor member, welcome drink was limited to a concentrated 'juices' and was served on a 'disposable' paper cups - what a service :-(

I have to admit that the service level and attention to its loyal customer were so outstanding. Even for just a Ibis hotel the provide a beautiful welcome fruit and cookies for me. That was really touched me during this stay. Well done Ibis Slipi.

No marketing gimmicks. The atmosphere, the food, the service, the room and the price are rock-your-socks-off good! I'm eager in coming back here. Oh, and also no gap between serving gaijin and local!!!
