Ibis Centrum is a good choice when travelling in Leuven and need to stay few nights there. It's situated right in the center, a walking distance by the main attractions â St Peter basilica and beautiful building of Leuven City hall. Also, the pedestrian area nearby is full of bars, coffees and nice restaurants. The city is a University center, so it has a large community of students. The bicycles are almost everywhere. ï
The hotel rooms are quite small, but equipped with all necessary for a pleasant stay. The cleanliness was much appreciated. Good breakfast also.
The price are high, but no surprise when going in Belgium.

Very good location for the centre of Leuven a 5 minute walk takes you into the centre. Getting a car into the car park is very difficult if you have anything larger than a mini and you can't access the hotel from the car park, you have enter from the road, not so good if it is raining.
The rooms are typical Ibis, not very big but adequate for a short stay and clean.
Breakfast is fairly basic and expensive at 15 euros.

The hotel is located in the city centre with everything on walking distance. Rooms are basic Ibis style but for a short stay/city trip is perfectly fine as you only sleep there and maybe have some breakfast. We were there during new years eve. Breakfast was a little bit crowded (small breakfast area) but the waitress did her best to keep everyone satisfied. If you asked for something she would arrange it. We had a small dog with us. He even got a dog snack from the hotel receptionist. Breakfast is until 10.30 and they have a small bar with a big selection of Belgium beers and you can play some games if you like. They have a 24 hour reception. Would definitely go back again. You can get a free city map and the staff is more than happy to tell you all the things you need to know about the city! They have a parking lot but it was full when we arrived. Just 5 minutes walking you have a parking space near a church which is 2 euro's per hour and free parking on Sunday and Holidays.

The accommodation was comfortable but as usual we were put at the top and front of house the worst rooms for noise. People slammed doors regularly and there was no air conditioning. We had to open the window for air but it was very cold. The strongest criticism I have is for the breakfast. Its was way too expensive for what was on offer. 30 euro for two people for a basic breakfast is terrible. I got breakfast once after that. Its beyond me why basic breakfast was so expensive.

Overall, hotel was comfortable, quiet and convenient location.
The staff were welcoming.
There was an error with my booking in that I was charged for my room when I should not have been. However, the lady at the desk made me aware of it the following morning and gave me a refund. I appreciated the honesty and that they proactively alerted me to the situation and made amends.
Breakfast was ok - it was help yourself service and I just had coffee and toast.
The hotel is really convenient for centre of Leuven. If you arrive by train, it is about 25 minute pleasant walk to hotel or you can get a bus as the bus station is next to train station.
I would definitely stay here again.
