Stayed at this hotel for a few days as we were attending a show at the ExCel !
Rooms are standard in size and clean enough, however way too expensive, however it is London after all so one should expect to be ripped off for most things.

The hotel is perfectly functional and ideal when working @ Excel. The room is comfortable with a king size bed, desk functional bathroom & TV. The hotel is on the flight path for London City and plane noise with an open window could be an issue. The airport however appears to have a curfew which meant that you can get a good night's sleep.
The staff are very helpful and there is a good half board deal available. Food choice isn't huge but the food is good quality and cheap by London standards. The burger and sweet potato fries is enjoyable but too big for most! Main courses are circa £12.
Prices seem to be a dark art! The rack rate varied from £250 to £350 whilst as there which is over priced even for London! Discounts appear to be availble and trip advisor appeared to offer fro £55! Good luck with booking.

Stayed here for business. After recently spending 2 weeks at Reading IbIs, nothing surprises me. On arriving staff were very welcoming. When I went to my room on 3rd floor there was big sign outside saying awaiting maintenance and the biggest smell of drains when entering. When I went back to reception. Manga on reception was brilliant and moved me to eighth floor. Both the breakfast and the bar did the job. Staff were friendly through out my stay. Would use again.

Nice hotel, nothing special really. Overpriced in my opinion. Small bathroom, room size and facilities are good, a little make over is needed. Sound isolation is not available. Water, coffee and tea available in your room

If you're looking for somewhere economical to stay for a very short business trip then this hotel does the job but I wouldn't recommend it for a leisure trip. This hotel has tried to go for a modern 'pod' style room but has ended up looking more like student halls of residence. The odd pre-fab bathroom unit ends up feeling like you're having a shower in an airplane toilet cubicle and the drainage doesn't work properly so you end up with an entirely wet floor. The over enthusiastic housekeeper disturbed our sleep twice and last time I checked it was customary to knock and wait before entering the room!
