Really central. Great hotel with good breakfast options. Calais was very quiet when we stayed and staff were a little too unsure about what was open and what was closed locally. But they did give great advice on local restaurants.
The bar is nice if you have a free half hour or so to relax and read a paper, with a glass of wine or ever.
One thing to be aware of when arriving at Calais by train is, that Dupleix has no taxi rank. Booking in advance is a good option - or make sure you have an EU mobile to call the numbers listed at station as the station is not continually manned. Maybe the hot l could mention this in their website info.

First problem in our stay. We received a twin room, and I've requested a double room. They didn't change the room and it's not possible to put the beds together.
First receptionist was so rude with me and didn't give any information about city, tourism, restaurants, etc. I was so disappointed.
In the evening, I've talked to another receptionist (a man) and he was so helpful with many information.
Good breakfast and easy offparking street.
Good stay, but could be better.

A well run basic hotel, cheap and efficient. Ibis Styles knows what it is doing, and does it well. Staff very welcoming and helpful, rooms clean, simple, beds comfortable. Ask for a quiet room, away from the sometimes noisy road in front. Newly refurbished carpark at the back is good if you are concerned about security, but busy street is probably very safe. There are often numbers of off duty police staying in the hotel. It is a bed and breakfast place, so walk up the road to the Histoire Ancienne for dinner. Self-service breakfast very good.

Clean, tidy and polite check In. Rooms warm and comfortable. Handy for bars and Channel Tunnel. Caters for pets which was the main driver for booking. A little awkward to find car park ( at rear of hotel) as hotel in town centre.

Bring back Mercure!!! We wont be revisiting. Not at all cosy and room was very small.
Breakfast okay but not up to standard when it was a Mercure.
Do not expect to pay 15 euros to park in an Ibis.
Will need a taxi to get us to our favourite restaurant in future!
