We stayed here in January and loved this hotel. Due to the weather our flight was delayed and we landed alot later than anticipated and so arrived at the hotel around 9.00 at night.Check in was simple made so by a very nice helpful gentleman. Like the rest of the hotel our room was a mix of very funky and modern with a comfortable large bed, massive TV and lots of open storage space . The bathroom was well stocked with wonderful luxury toiletries, fluffy towels etc. We had patio doors onto a roomy balcony and lay in bed watching it snow . All the staff we came into contact with were smartly dressed and couldn't do enough to help us. The restaurant was open until 10.00 so even with our later arrival we were able to have a delicious dinner after all our travels and relax in the friendly comfortable atmosphere. It is ideally situated for the city centre and outside is the blue bus stop where we were dropped off and picked up for our transfers and the day trip we took . We were able to sit in one of the cosy sitting areas until the bus arrived then just step outside. We will definitely stay here again when we return to this wonderful country.

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. Itâs a short walk to the centre so well placed. Not only this but you can park right outside or in a massive car park behind for free, even though it says no parking, it means the hotel doesnât have a car park that it owns.
Every morning we got a little breakfast treat hanging on our door which was a nice touch. Also my partner told them it was our anniversary and we got 2 complimentary cocktails. The hotel was lovely and clean. Iâm picky usually but literally canât fault the hotel

Hotel is situated right on waterfront and a 10 min walk to city centre Main Street. Rooms are clean and bathroom more a wet room with shower, no bath. Hotel facilities good, great atmosphere in bar with good breakfast. Small menu in restaurant but food good. Staff really friendly and helpful in all parts of hotel.
Only criticism ( which stops it getting a 5 star) arrived 2hours early at hotel and of the 3 rooms we booked only 1 available, which was fine but instead of allowing us to put all our luggage etc in this room hotel wanted to charge us to book in early! I can understand hotels charging for late departure from rooms but this room was cleaned and ready for us. What were the hotel going to do with it for 2hours!!! Never experienced this anywhere else in the world and I am a frequent traveller. Suggest hotel review their policy. Would recommend hotel but just think this policy is a bit churlish.

Hotel is clean, simple and inviting. My only complaint is that our room faces the street. This is our second time at the hotel and our room faced the street last time too, but this time I found it VERY noisey. It snowed and plows were plowing all night, and noisey cars, etc. Rooms are not not spacious but more than adequate and very comfortable and warm. We find plenty of restaurants nearby for desired meals. They have an unlimited buffet breakfast that is delish.

Poor location a long way from City Centre. Booking was made by somebody else, who did not realize there would be no facilities to make tea/coffee in room. As I dehydrate easily we had to rush off each morning to get a coffee. We did not eat/drink in the hotel as the meal/drink prices were ridiculous. We normally stay in UK for between GBP 40 and GBP 80 per room per night for a disabled double room, here it was around ISK 31,000 or GBP 220!
I always insist on a double room as it makes things easier for me as I am disabled, so the twin room was not very good. Managed to get to sleep well but then the quilt managed to fall on floor in night and I woke with very bad leg cramp. Bathroom had good disabled support rails, though a bit wobbly! Wash basin too high for a wheel-chair user.
We cancelled after two nights and spent the remaining nights elsewhere.
