We had an excellent 5 days at the Indra Maya Villas in Nirwana Gardens. Our kids loved the pool that comes with the villa.
And since the resort is big with lots of great dining options, the included buggy makes getting around very easy and convenient. The facilities are great, with lots of activities for all ages. We watched the elephant show, went parasailing, got a horse carriage ride, went bowling and got a private family BBQ dinner which was all great. There are many more things to do.
The staff all provided swift and excellent service which is important.
We will definitely return and hopefully the same villa will be available.

We absolutely loved the villa we stayed in and it's perfect for a family! We stayed in Turtle C villa which had a great view. As you would expect from the resorts, the restaurants are a bit over-priced but besides that, I would recommend and go back to this location. The kids loved the buggy rides and the elephant show most of all!!

My fourth stay at this property in the past few years has been as satisfactory as always. Superbly maintained private villa's, friendly staff, good restaurants, lovely location. Just perfect for a peaceful yet fun filled vacation. Thank you Nirwana Resorts.

This is probably one of the best places to visit if you need a short getaway. An hour's boat ride away from Singapore and you're tucked away in a nice quiet sanctuary, the perfect place for some R&R.
We've been back so many times over the past 6 or 7 years and we'll definitely continue making this our favorite holiday destination.
The pool villas are excellent for families, the rooms may be a little run down but it's all teak-wood furniture so do expect it to smell a little woody and musty at times. The villa was excellent for just chilling with family, spending hours in the pool and it's quiet and peaceful enough to do loads of reading while being cooled by the sea breeze and a ceiling fan.
The beaches are amazing. When we were there last weekend, it was peaceful and quiet and we practically had the entire beach to ourselves.
The staff have always been very friendly and obliging and have always provided top notched service that's way above what you'd commonly find in Singapore.
A tad pricey but one thing I wasn't prepared for last weekend, it seems they've stopped accepting Singapore Dollars and all shops and restaurants would either accept credit cards or Indonesian currency so do come prepared!

Worth the trip down there. Very relaxing and peaceful. Perfect getaway for those who want to stay away from the hustle of city life. Food options should be more varied. More activities for kids would be welcome. Kids playing area at the reception is not properly maintained.
