"WELL KEPT ONE BH (Bedroom , Hall) APARTMENT"-
(1)Booking - Done thru Cleartrip only 1 day in advance amounting to Rs. 2600/- per day & I booked it for two days.
(2)Distance-Distance from Mangalore Junction is approx 8km..Don't rely on OLA as they tend to cancel the bookings citing local cab/auto drivers dun allow them to pick passengers.Auto fare will be approximately 150Rs from mglore junction..
(3)Landmark-Just tell driver to drive in MG road , Ballalbagh, opposite to PC Jewellers/HDFC Bank and just besides Shree Devi College.. Two-three boards bearing Inland service Apartment can be seen on the main road itself..Dun get confused with the glass building situated just on the main road with Inland Avenue written in white colour with red background..Actually service apartment is just beneath that building after crossing 02 parking lots...
(4)Hotel-It's one Bedroom & Hall combination with two super clean toilets with two split ACs And two TVs..Clean towels along with soaps with one litre of bottle daily is complementary..Daily housekeeping makes the thumbs up in terms of cleanliness...
Ample car parking space is there as you have to cross two huge parking spaces to enter your very own parking space of ur Apartment..Nice Balcony is attached with the Bedroom with average view..Better to take rooms on higher floor (Floor 3) opposite to main road..But I recommend two chairs with one li'l table in the balcony which ll be icing on the cake..
(5)Safety Aspect-Absolute no tension for single women / group of females or couples..
(6)Kitchen-Kitchen is not available in the service apartment..However they will give you one menu card and they procure it from outside..
(7)Food-Two nice restaurants/dhaba (RIZK & Sri Durga ) which operates till 1030pm can be ur option of packing food..Taste is good and cost is reasonable situated just below ur hotel after the parking space...
(8)Supermarket-Just come out of your hotel to main road and take left and walk arnd 300 mtr and Nilgiris is just bang opposite..
(9)Lift operates from the parking space so no hassles for luggage but reception is on the first floor..
(10)Check in/out is quite flexible and is 24 hours...
(11)Waiters are quite good and can understand hindi/english.
(12)Penambur beach is approx 12 km and better to hire OLA for 6 hours which will kum near around 1000bucks for mangalore sightseeing..
(13)Citycentre mall-Situated just arnd 1.5km..
(14)No free breakfast included in the package...
(15)Sleep quality-Absolute good if no disturbance by gym goers...Gym is just situated above 3rd floor above lift...
(16)Drinks-U can carry ur own drinks from outside and can have it in the rooms..Absolutely no fuss...
(17)Train-Take a train from Yeswantpur rly stn at mrng 0710 and u ll reach mglore by evng 5pm and see the mindblowing western ghats which is hill ride of approx 4 hours..Better to travel by train than road...
(18)Mangalore sight seeing-Penambur beach, Tannirbhavi beach, pilikula zoo & Udupi (60kms) from mangalore...

First time I stayed in self-service apartment. Clean well kept place however the sofa in room was very old and was sinking and unfit for use. Otherwise rest of the things were nice and functioning. Bit stuffy though. And restaurants are all nearby. There is room service from couple of them. The staff was prompt and served with smile.

If you want space with adult kids instead of room with extra bed , try such service apartment which has catched up with home-stay concept in cities. You get 2 rooms with same facility / amenities at a similar price of a room in standard hotel. Perfect for family with addition sofa beds for kids.
People who look for space , its recommended. Ample parking space as Apartment buildings with security..
Amenities include mini fridge / microwave / Roof top restaurant / Room service . Price does not include BF

Booked a studio for 3 adults. A big bed with an sofa bed. Everything is good enough except no water kettle. Arrived late n had dinner at Foodland restaurant which was located about 500 meters away. Good seafood and tikas. Must try the tikas with Rum and another one with whisky. Must counter check the prices before order bcoz the manager might quote you wrongly.

I stayed here after going through reviews on this apartment. The entry and exit is through the underground parking, there is no other way. We had a lot of luggage and I found it quite inconvenient to drag the bags to the lift. As we had arrived unannounced, it took quite a while to get help to take our luggage and that was cumbersome. From the ground level you go Level 1, if I remember right, that is where the reception is. The lady who was working the day shift had just left, she is who I had spoken to for my accomodation , the other staff especially house keeping is very polite and prompt. Rooms are well furnished but I was not happy with cleanliness. I suffer from wheezing when there is dust. I woke up sneezing non stop so I think the rooms had not been aired in a while or the ac units need to be serviced. That's for sure. Cleanliness was not up to the level of my expectations as there was dust on the counter tops and edges of the floor. I hope the management can take all this into consideration and clean the rooms thoroughly. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Hot water is available in this facility. I enjoyed my stay otherwise. Family suite definitely needs upgrading and dusting/cleaning thoroughly. Wifi speed was excellent!
