Well my room wasn't anything like their photo. The rear facing rooms are dark and featureless - the design doesn't help. But bland mass-bought prints just add to the gloom. Breakfast room is oddly arranged but a great view from the terrace. All in all OK. Nothing special.

We checked in, and were told to pay for the room up front before seeing the room. Upon entering the room, we noticed there was no door or curtain on the shower! When asked at reception for a curtain (as there was a rail for one), one lady tried to help, however the duty manager said 'there was nothing they could do'. We showered and soaked our bathroom!!!
Upon returning to our room at 11 pm, we could hear music from outside the establishment. The kind gentleman on reception only spoke French, but managed to convey there was a night club over the hill and the music could be heard until 1 am when it closed.
We spoke to the manager in the morning to convey the disappointment of not being told of the noise before hand. She advised us that the gentleman over night didn't know what he was talking about and no one has ever complained about the music. She basically accused us of lying about the music. I have over 8 years experience in 5 star hotels and to be spoken to in that manner shocked me. She is meant to be a duty manager and leading by example but can get away with treating the guests in a rude ill mannered way is poor and a bad reflection on the hotel.
We definitely will not be back!

Having breakfast at the 4th floor with the amazing view made the somewhat average breakfast spectaculair. Had a relaxed afternoon at the pool which is clean and nice fresh. It is however much smaller than the pictures.
The location is fantastic. Close to the city center which has nice restaurants and bars. We did the touristic boat trip. Nice to see sète from the water. Also the beaches are awesome.
The rooms are a bit outdated but clean and the bed was comfortable.
The only thing: please install a shower curtain or door. Everything gets wet.

The hotel is located near the harbour and over-looking the Mediterranean. It is a fairly modern hotel with good sized rooms and bathrooms. I think parking could be a problem. I managed to park directly outside the hotel but there seemed to be just four places. I am not sure if there is any other parking provision. The top floor area was ideal for a good, relaxing breakfast but do not be impressed by the claim to have a swimming pool on the top floor - it is more like an over-sized bath!
The immediate harbour side area is great for food with many choices of restaurant.

Very rundown hotel. The rooms are clean and (except for the occasional hair), but the furniture is very old and the rooms just aren't pretty at all. Similarly, the breakfast is very dull. An upside is that this suits Sète rather well.
All in all, wouldn't recommend if you have other options. The three stars are definitely not deserved, as is also demonstrated by the fact that the hotel was basically empty when we got there despite the fact that it was the holiday season.
