I spent a week in Budapest and had the pleasure to stay at the Intercontinental. It is a great hotel, extremely well located by the Danube River with outstanding view from my room.
Due to my Elite status they upgraded to a Junior Suite and it was fantastic.
Great breakfast, great room service but an expensive parking fee.

I was given a high floor Danube River view. I arrived about 9:00pm, and when I opened my room door, the room was in darkness, but I was overwhelmed by the view. The Castle and the Chain Bridge were all lit-up. The view was stunning.
The room, a junior suite was excellent; the breakfast buffet is huge, and I mean huge; even had an oriental section. And all the staff I encountered from doorman, to reception, to restaurant, to house-keeping were amazing.

This hotel is situated o. The Danube with spectacular views of Buda Castle and Chain Bridge.
The Taxi service is fantastic or use Taxify for prearranged service.
The interior is updated and very clean. Rooms are small but comfortable with everything you need from robes to hair dryer.
The service is great from front desk, wait staff, room attendants.
Be sure to enjoy the pool and spa.
The buffet breakfast has a wide variety of international choices and will make eggs to your liking. Suggest you use special rates when booking and negotiate to get breakfast and wifi included.

The view shown from the cameo shot in this website is pretty much the view from our window. Stunning views, awesome location on the Danube. If you are there for New Years Eve, be sure to attend their gala. It is an international crowd and an exquisite menu to compliment the festive evening. Don't miss it!
