Start of our Loire a velo cycling holiday

Our room was very nicely furnished and decorated. The entrance to the room was from the outside along a balcony. From the road you would not expect such a pleasant place.
Our bikes were securely stored in a locked room. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. The hotel staff were friendly, amusing and very helpful. Their recommendation of a restaurant for the evening was spot on. Great start to our holiday android be happy to return.
A treasure in the centre of Neves

This is a wonderful hotel in the centre of Nevers. It is a hidden treasure in the old part of town. The owners are extremely nice and helpful and they will do everything to make your stay enjoyable. They are environmental concious and the breakfast has lots of organic food. The room clean and have everything you need. Internet is fast.
Don't judge on the outside

On arrival we were a little bit disappointed by the looks of the hotel. Don't let it foul you. Once you go trough the "tunnel", you arrive in a nice courtyard where all the rooms and receptions are situated.
We where there on a Sunday night, so it was not so busy in the hotel.
Just a short walk from he town center
We had a good sleep and breakfast was good.
B&B only

Hotel is very comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms clean and modern and the rooms quiet. A good breakfast. Hotel very helpful with parking, allowing us to park whilst we cycled down La Loire.
A five day stay

We stayed here for five nights late September/early October while attending the World Superbike races at Magny-Cours.
We found it easily enough with our GPS after picking up a rental car from Avis after arriving by train from Paris.
The reception office was easy to find and the gentleman who checked us in spoke good English and was very friendly. We had prepaid our room and breakfast some time ago from New Zealand, and there was no problem with this at all. He explained a few things regarding breakfast times, and the locking of the gates which was very helpful.
We were in unit number 3, a ground floor unit with twin beds â exactly what I had requested. The bedroom and bathroom and toilet (they were separate) were very clean and comfortable.
Wifi worked very well.
Our towels were replaced every day, even when we put them back on the racks each morning. There was a good hairdryer in the bathroom, also a heater. Shower was fine, and we appreciated the cake of soap on the handbasin and liquid soap/shampoo in the shower.
Our beds were made every day, and Iâm sure that there were new sheets and pillow cases at least a couple of times during our short stay.
Breakfast was good, a good choice of cereals, yogurt, fruit, croissants, pastries and breads. The lady who runs it (Iâm sorry, I donât know your name) is very friendly and keeps things topped up. She also speaks good English.
Parking is 4.50 euros per day. On our last night we went to the office to pay for our parking, but the lovely lady said that because we hadnât had breakfast on Saturday or Sunday, there would be no charge for our parking. I thought that was very nice of her, as it was our choice to not eat breakfast on those two days (we were leaving early to get to the track).
A very comfortable place to stay and I would certainly recommend it.
The only (very slightly) negative comments I would make is that the driveway in/out is quite narrow and you need to drive quite carefully, and the lighting in the room is not overly bright but there are good bedside lights and the bathroom light is very bright.
Thank you for a lovely stay.
