Great resort! Rooms immaculate as was the whole complex. A choice of pools and 2 minute walk to beach. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very quiet at night so great to relax on the balcony. Highly recommend as we have rebooked for next Augustð

Booked our holiday with Tomas Cook on the Cala Azul Resort. When booking it was not explained to us that there were two sites, Cala Azul Park and Cala Azul Garden, so when our booking showed as a Garden apartment, we assumed that it is on the resort we saw in the brochure, but in a garden area. But that's not the case, as we were placed in the Cala Azul Garden resort. Although it did have a nice swimming pool and bar area, it was not the main site for meals, the gym and evening entertainment. The food was average and the room was basic, clean with good air conditioning. The balcony was at the rear of the Cala Azul Graden, and therefore did not get any sun. The karaoke bar that our apartment was facing was very loud and went onto quite late. I found the staff to always be helpful and courteous, but I'm afraid to say, that I wont be returning.

Great hotel, lovely people, great facilities, close to the beach, unbelievably great, staff always said hello.
I have no issue with this place and will be returning :-)
P.s water nearby is so stunning, can not believe cala d'or. beautiful

To start...the holiday was booked knowing it was coming to the End of the Season so would be quiet, so we weren't expecting the normal Hustle and Bustle around the resort.
The Good Points about the Hotel and Resort....
The hotel, pool area and surrounding resort (Inturo-town....as nearly everything is owned or run by the Hotel group) is immaculate and spotlessly clean.
The scenery and beaches are some of the best I've experienced and seen.(Best of the local beaches is Cala Esmerelda)
Room was acceptable for our Self Catering needs.
The Bad Points....
Room not made up for 3 Days...resulting in having to ask reception to organise the minimum clean...ie fresh towels and bins emptied.
No Free WiFi in at least public areas...I understand that a holiday for most is to get away from the everyday world...but this is 2017...streaming of films downloading of music and books to kindles etc this I feel should be the minimum requirement.
Reception staff friendly however...they neglected to remember a National Holiday....resulting in the Wednesday Market being moved to Tuesday...so when we enquired on Monday about the market then tried to book on Tuesday to go the Market on Wednesday this was when this 'Nugget' of information was disclosed.
For Self Catering be aware no oven...not a real issue but would have been useful.
Overall a pleasant stay. Weather very Good For this time of year. Hotel suited our needs, but a couple of points travellers should be aware of...
On arrival you get dropped off at the main roundabout (200mtrs away from Hotel and up an incline- I guess for ease of the coach driver? But if you have young children in tow or are a little less mobile this is an issue, especially as the coach passes the entrance twice!!!)
If you go half board you need to make a similar journey as on arrival to take breakfast and dinner in one of the sister hotels, as this hotel has no restaurant to accommodate this option.
Both the above are not mentioned in Holiday Brochures.
For Self Catering guests...stay away from the resort's Spar Shops as they are overpriced and run by or for Inturo-hotel. There is a very good Suma only 10 minutes walk away, that offers a wide range of fresh produce as well as prepared foods at a more reasonable price. (It must be good as the locals use it in their droves) It also has a very good bakery and cafe to...so that's breakfast sorted ð
Would I return....yes... but not at the very end of the season...

We visited for the first time last year and loved it, looking for a last minute break for autumn half term saw the same hotel at a good deal so caution to the wind we booked the return. On arrival at hotel found room was not quite up to previous standard and on the noisy delivery side of the hotel, we spoke to reception who said leave it with them, the following day moved to a poolside view room! Staff were very helpful and canât thank them enough. Separate note just outside the complex good food and service from Andyâs bar and down at the marina waves bar is worth a stop off as well.
