Hotel rooms are not good . They are not clean , its smelly with all spider webs and its nasty . The blankets provided were also torn . It is not worth the money paid ( they charged 1800 per room per night ) . Room service is also not good
Breakfast is kind of fine , but it starts only after 7.30 am . Swimming pool can be used only with proper attire .
If you are planning to visit waynad then better to stay in Kalpetta than in sultan bethary

This hotel in town. Has cheep rooms and a dormitory which can accommodate 20 Pax.
You can choose a higher grade room for more comforts. Their sister concern near by give bear and wine. Limited parking inside the compound.Old hotel. They are installing lift now

The property was very Good, very private and no big noise around into the rooms. The issues are, we were put in the second floor and the Hotel did not have a lift, so carrying the luggage was a bit difficult work, the hotel does not have room service, the Restaurant was good very authentic kerala style food which was very good in fact.... Lot of parking space, very close to the main market in the town...everything was good about the Hotel, except for the Lift and room service....

You will see the (if I am not wrong) south western part of Kerala from this point called "Lakkidi View Point". For a better view plan to be there by about 6 am and this would be the right season to enjoy

Has a tiny swimming pool and gets crowded fast. Situated in a small lane from the main city road opp to a movie theatre. If there's any good movie, it's hard to drive into the lane with your 4-wheeler. Breakfast is above average. Haven't had other meals. Hot water takes time to come in the bathroom. Double room (non-AC) was big for 2 but not attractive. Noisy because of traffic. Economic if you simply want to stay and main focus is roaming.
