The overall service is really disappointing.
As we came from ITC in Jaipur, we expected a similar service. What didn't happen.
First we had several problems with our room key. In six different moments our key did not work. On the third time, we got to know that they were giving us the key for other room. So, if I have the key for other people room, somebody else has my key? Is this safe?Hm....
Food service was really bad as well. The quality of the food was really low and not many option for foreign guests. Its cool to have local food, but its important to have options for all kind of guests.
When you have a problem, seems that they don't care do solve it. Sometimes when we were talking to a staff members they just turn heads, speak to other people or start a conversation on their own language...
Really disappointing experience.

Service - Everyone at the hotel was so polite, thoughtful, professional and friendly. They really make sure that their guests enjoy a luxury experience through their hospitality.
Facilities - physically, this hotel is gorgeous from all the marble in the bathroom, to the beautiful spa, expansive and well groomed outdoor grounds.
Guestroom - it was a very large luxurious room with marble.
Restaurants - We tried the lounge, which was very comfortable, the Afghan restaurant was delicious, and the breakfast buffet had great variety.
Spa - I definitely recommend getting a spa treatment while staying here. It is a beautiful space and the therapists are very good. It's probably best to book your appointment ahead of time just in case.

I was travelling to Agra with my cousins from Abroad, wanted them to stay at at an awesome place, Found this online on a site offered at a very good price, booked it Instantly. When we got to the hotel we were very much exhausted, we were given the room really quickly and the check in was very fast. The hotel and the grounds are superb, Our dinner at Peshawari was also awesome and we ate to our hearts content.
I generally sleep with 2-3 pillows and wanted another blanket the house keeping staff Mr. Divyanshu Yadav was of great help and got the pillows promptly.
Great hotel and very close to the sites in Agra, has a gud room service menu and a superb restaurants.

We have visited this property many time. Every time there is increased personalized service, as more and more staff remembers you and your preferences.
The rooms are very comfortable and stocked with upscale amenities.
Spa and pool are excellent.
Staff is very helpful and food very tasty. WiFi is fast and covers outside ground too. Fitness center and other facilities are well maintained.
Place on record the efforts of Mr(s). Mansing, Rameswar, Rakesh, Umesh, Bhim and others who made our stay comfortable and memorable.

When planning our trip to India we decided to make it luxury all the way and unfortunately the ITC Mughal was not that. Why? there are several reasons and unfortunately for the ITC Mughal it did not match up to the other hotels we stayed at on out trip in the Leela and Taj chain of hotels.
The staff were welcoming and helpful right across the hotel from the security team to house keeping and the real upside of the hotel. However, the hotel seemed very lacking in warmth and to a lot of work required, especially in the bedrooms.
The hotel has a great view point of the Taj Mahal from its look out tower and a good retreat from Agra itself, but because of this they hope to contain you within the walls and upsell through drinks, etc. at every opportunity.
There are two pools at the hotel, with the largest one being the best, but also the most empty as it is for the Club guests only. The second pool for the majority of the guests is small and stuck in the middle of the hotel over looked by bedrooms on all asides.
We ate the first night in the main restaurant on the buffet menu, the selection is great and so is the food, so another upside of the hotel. Although we did go to an outside restaurant on the second night (opposite the hotel) as the restaurant options are limited within unless you are prepared to pay the very high charges at the other restaurants within the hotel.
We did have cocktails in the main bar, which were very nice, but didn't stay long as we were continually asked whether we wanted more cocktails, even though it was clear to see had nearly full glasses. We even had a call to our room at one point to see if we wanted drinks brought to our room.
So overall, the staff, the view of the Taj Mahal and the good food in the main restaurant stopped us from marking lower.
