Good hotel in the middle of the city

We stayed in a deluxe suite, which we realized was a tent room only when we reached.. The hotel was extremely clean and staff is very courteous. 5 stars for service and hospitality... There was heater, TV, tea maker, wardrobes provided in every room. The food was lovely too.
The tent stay have pre-installed bathrooms/ toilets (not concrete ones) which means they are small and constricted... but you do have running hot water and basic amenities.
Word of caution : this hotel is a famous wedding/ party location for the locals as well.. so you cant escape the loud music and singing until 11 PM in the night, whichever room you are in... that was the only downside of our stay.. but would recommend surely..

Celebrating the birthday of my friends, Party at Jhansi Hotel was not what I expected to arrange. Facilities was very cooperative and had a five star experience. Had a great evening and appreciated for arrangements. Extending same to the Hotel facilities.
old style charm

I was charmed by the look of the hotel; the old style charm. It had no stairs that I could see. they have only one restaurant which i think was open to outsiders also . dont think its a great thing.
the back side of the hotel had a garden which was a event venue. God help the guests if there was a celebration going on.
It is very close to the railway station and provides free pick and drop
I would recommend this hotel
Five star experience!

From free pickup and drop to the railway station, to two litres of complementary water bottle daily, to all regional channels on a giant flat screen TV - everything in this hotel was top class. First, I must talk about the location. It's in one of the quieter but cleaner parts of Jhansi, right next to the cantonment, and a 5 mins walk to the Sadar Bazar. The hotel looks beautiful with sprawling green lawns, gazebos, fountains, and 139 rooms all in a vast area. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful, the rooms are big, and clean, with big, airy, beautiful bathrooms.
What I liked the best was the restaurant Lazeez - the ambiance and decor is top class, and looked like it's a favourite with the locals too. It's almost always packed. The breakfast has a very good spread - and I had one of the best dosas of my life here!
Although I stayed in the deluxe room, the staff was kind enough to show me the super deluxe, and executive rooms, and the very popular cottages. All the room types are beautiful and clean. You can choose to stay in any one of them, and you'd have a great experience.
Wifi is complementary, and there is enough parking. I saw a lot of guests come and stay over for the night and drive off the next morning.
This hotel is exactly what is advertised on their website and all the pictures. The Jhansi fort is just 4 kms from the hotel.
I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
Wonderful Stay

This hotel proved my perception about the hotels in tier 2/3 cities wrong. I always felt one needs a Taj, Westin to experience hospitality but as I said this hotel proved me wrong.
This isn't a grand property but extremely well kept. The thought of arranging for a cupboard and designated space for luggage in the washroom rather than the room is a well thought idea on the part of the hotel. Everything from the room, to the washroom to the toiletries provided was spick and span.
The food we ordered is also worth mentioning. Excellent food.
Extremely warm and hospitable stay. Certainly a memorable one!!
