I went for a weekend get away with my 2 sons and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The drive from Hyderabad to the resort took only 3 hours, the road condition was surprisingly good all through. We could spot several male black buck deers with their majestic horns besides hundreds of other deers. The early morning trek with the guide to see variety of birds was also interesting. We also did boating, kayaking, star gazing & bon-fire. Accommodation was good, food great, service excellent.

A weekend getaway in pleasant chillness of morning and quiet nights as they embrace you. Nice, cozy, clean n spacious cottage rooms. Nice n courteous staff. Not a huge range in buffet lunch n dinner but tasty stuff same as a home cooked meal.
Nice trek options, not a huge distance but an intresting one. Go for it in winters as summers might be dry n hot.
Get up to chirping of birds n quietness in d air, walk along with the langoors. Peace n serene.

Blackbuck resorts is a lovely place. Great food. Good staff. Nice location. Good trek and birding. Nice lake and boating options. But the housekeeping was bad this time. We found 3 mice in our room (2 alive and 1 dead). If they check the rooms before letting guests enter they could have atleast spotted the dead mouse. The inverter was absent from the room too. They had to switch on the DG when power went off. The experience was wow earlier and okay this time around.

I should really first appreciate the staff and their hospitality...some of the names are Shiva, Raghu, Hussain etc.. All of them are very nice..
Secondly rooms are really neat and we'll maintained.
Location is really thrilling, out of the world.. If you are nature lover then this is the place to go... Trekking, boating, campfire, everything is great..

This was our second trip to the Jungle Lodges property at Bidar.
The quality of service remains excellent.
The directions are now clearer with sign board put up and the property, as it matures, has become greener and has more flora and fauna. Itâs an ideal getaway from Hyderabad.
Time from Hyderabad by car: 2.5 to 3 hours
Meals: Excellent vegetarian and non vegetarian buffets.
Sleep: Since it's a jungle be prepared for sounds, and small creatures :)
Activity: Black buck sighting, coracle ride, bonfire, jungle hammock and trekking.
