Just a Place to Sleep-That's It

This hotel is in the center of Myeong-Dong which was great, but other than that that's it. The room was small like we expected.
Also, I am aware that the staff goes home at 10 PM. I notified them via Agoda and 2 emails that we will be arriving at 11 PM, NO REPLY. We got there we were locked out, just waiting. We even asked people outside to borrow their phone and call the hotel, no answer. Luckily there was another guest that was going to enter so we went in with her and just luckily spotted an envelope on the counter with my name and the key inside.
Talked to the receptionist the next day who was NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL (DURING OUR WHOLE STAY) and claimed she left a paper on the door for the code. Yes, maybe we didn't see it but a reply to the email would have been good.
Room is tolerable, RECEPTIONIST VERY UNFRIENDLY but good location. If you're just looking for a place to sleep like we were then this is for you.
Right in a city centre

When we booked a room in this hotel we were definitely expecting something bigger. It was 3 of us and the room was tiny. On the other side everything was clean and the position is perfect. 2 minutes walk to the city centre and busies parts of Seoul. Breakfast is usualy included but don't expect anything special. Toast with butter and jam and coffee.

Great location in the heart of very popular Myeongdong. I had a single room accommodation with a queen size bed... other amenities like large storage closets with hangers, television, wifi, bathroom etc.
Clean sheets and towels with extras available if you need it. Helpful staff available whenever you need assistance.
good location made up for the service

This place is a gem for it's location. We opted for the subway from the airport to Myeongdong Station, went out at Exit 9 and it's just a 2 minute walk from there. Shops and restaurants are just outside the place so it's easy to walk around, shop and get back. They offer free breakfast - a selection of toast with jam or butter, cereals (which were too sweet for me) and milk, coffee and juice for drinks. The room was on the small side, it was difficult to move around. I did not mind the size because I expected as much but the room smelled terrible. Staff were responsive - that's it. They answer your questions when you ask and do not really assist much. They do not allow early check in even when we saw that the room was vacant and cleaned already (we checked at a different hotel and although they clearly stated no early check in they allowed us early into our rooms when the cleaning was already done). If you are simply looking for an accessible place to stay at Myeongdong and do not expect much, this could be an option.

I lived on the 4th floor, room was very small for 3 persons, sliding bed on the bottom slides up to the wall, no space to walk to the window. Not much space to put luggage, only by the entry door. Should be more hangers for clothes in the room. Bath was very small and included toilet, sink and shower all in the same small space. Breakfast was very basic, milk, some orange drink, corn flakes, butter, toast, coffee from small packet and tea. No disabled access to the lift- stairs. Cost was too high for such facilities, I paid over 50 EUR per night, in my opinion it is worth 30, not more. The best thing about it was location, right in the middle of street life, food from the trolleys, restaurants, shopping, metro station near. But in spite of street life it was quiet, I had no problems with street noise. I would recommend it for very budget travelers who need only place to sleep, but for reduced price, not 50-55 EUR.
